JONES AND CERRETA A NEW LOUDSPEAKER BRAND FROM ANDREW JONES
A new loudspeaker brand, Jones and Cerreta, is set to make its public debut at AXPONA 2026.
Based in Los Angeles, the company has been founded by loudspeaker designer Andrew Jones alongside brothers Jamie and Bill Cerreta, bringing together experience from engineering, music production and technology.
ANDREW JONES AND JONES AND CERRETA BACKGROUND
Andrew Jones is a well-established figure in loudspeaker design, with previous roles at KEF, Pioneer, ELAC and MoFi Electronics. This new venture marks the first time his name is directly attached to a brand he has co-founded.
He is joined by Jamie Cerreta, a music industry executive with more than 25 years’ experience, and Bill Cerreta, an electrical engineer with a background in Silicon Valley product development.
DESIGN APPROACH
The company’s first product is a floorstanding loudspeaker, with limited technical detail currently available. The design is said to combine established and newer engineering approaches, reflecting a focus on how music is reproduced and experienced in the home.
A key feature of the new loudspeaker is the use of a concentric driver paired with a field coil system. This type of driver replaces the conventional permanent magnet with an externally powered electromagnet, a configuration that is relatively uncommon in modern loudspeaker design due to its complexity and cost.
The combination of concentric and field coil technologies suggests an attempt to bring together established driver integration techniques with less widely used approaches more often seen in specialist or high-end designs.

Jones and Cerreta look to be targeting listeners who value both acoustic performance and contemporary design, with the debut product positioned as a departure from Andrew Jones’ earlier work for larger manufacturers.
While full specifications, pricing and model naming have yet to be confirmed, the project reflects a clean-sheet approach for the team, with engineering decisions centred on listening priorities rather than published specifications.

Jones and Cerreta will officially launch at AXPONA 2026, taking place from 10th to 12th April in Chicago. Demonstrations of the new floorstanding loudspeaker will be held in Room 302, where attendees will be able to hear the design for the first time.
