UNio Poki Network Switch
UNIO POKI NETWORK SWITCH LAUNCHED BY HONG KONG BRAND, WITH AUDIO-FOCUSED DESIGN
UNio, the digital division of Hong Kong brand ungnoi, has introduced the UNio Poki Network Switch, a 2.5G unit designed specifically for use in HiFi streaming systems.
The model combines isolated network ports, an aluminium alloy chassis, and a selection of components chosen for noise control and stability.
UNIO POKI NETWORK SWITCH
The UNio Poki Network Switch is built around a machined aluminium alloy enclosure intended to provide physical rigidity and electrical interference resistance. Status indicators are placed on the exterior of the chassis to avoid light spill or electromagnetic interference within the internal circuitry. Front-panel indicators show clock status while blue underside lighting reflects operational state.

REAR CONNECTIVITY AND ‘ZEN ZONE’ PORT
The rear panel includes a grounding terminal and DC power input on the left. Centrally, there are four RJ45 ports supporting 2.5G data transmission. On the right is a dedicated 1G “Zen Zone” RJ45 port, internally isolated and intended for connecting a primary streaming device. The Poki also incorporates an SFP fibre optic port supporting 10G or 1G operation for connection to SFP-equipped devices or for daisy-chaining additional network hardware. A 10MHz external clock input is provided for users intending to integrate an external master clock.
UNIO POKI NETWORK SWITCH CLOCK TECHNOLOGY
At the core of the UNio Poki Network Switch is a CHRONOS Class internal clock module selected for low phase noise performance. UNio states that its production process involves temperature-controlled testing, where one clock is chosen from batches of 20–30 quartz devices to act as the reference oscillator. This approach is intended to promote timing stability and data accuracy across supported network speeds.
POWER AND INTERNAL ARCHITECTURE
The Poki uses four separate DC power supply groups and employs audiophile-grade capacitors, alongside carbon-fibre internal isolation elements, aiming to reduce electrical noise. The switch’s internal layout is engineered around separation of power, clock, and network stages.
