TRIANGLE CAPELLA 2 WIRELESS SPEAKER SYSTEM ANNOUNCED
French HiFi brand Triangle introduced the new Triangle Capella 2, the successor to its original Capella active wireless speaker system, at the Audio Video Show Warsaw 2025, over the weekend.
Designed and assembled in France, the Triangle Capella 2 aims to offer an all-in-one HiFi solution combining streaming, amplification and speaker design in a compact system intended for modern listening environments.
TRIANGLE CAPELLA 2 LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM
The system includes a pair of active two-way loudspeakers and the updated Stereo Hub 2 wireless transmitter and network player.
At the centre of the system is WiSA wireless transmission, linking the speakers and the Stereo Hub 2 with no speaker cables required between channels. This approach allows flexible placement, as all audio sources connect to the hub rather than the speakers themselves. The connection is designed to operate with high-resolution audio and low latency.
Capella 2 features a curved cabinet structure intended to reduce unwanted resonance, and uses Triangle’s DVAS internal bracing system to control vibrations. A 25mm horn-loaded magnesium/aluminium dome tweeter and a 165mm natural cellulose pulp mid-bass driver form the two-way arrangement. The downward-firing bass reflex port is designed to reduce room interaction when positioning the speakers.
The finish options have expanded to include Space White, Astral Blue, Space Black, English Green and Oak, complemented by Champagne-tone aluminium accents. The system is assembled at Triangle’s facility in Soissons, France.
NEW STEREO HUB 2 NETWORK PLAYER
The updated Stereo Hub 2 has been redesigned to improve operational responsiveness and connectivity. Powered by a Cortex A53 quad-core processor, it supports Ethernet, Wi-Fi and various streaming platforms including Spotify Lossless, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready operation. It also features an adjustable subwoofer output and a rechargeable radio-frequency remote, along with HDMI ARC, analogue and digital inputs for television, turntables and other audio sources.
Wireless functionality includes Bluetooth 5.2, AirPlay, Chromecast and UPnP/DLNA playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The system is intended to accommodate streaming directly from smartphones, tablets or computers, as well as local network music libraries. This range of inputs is designed to support both casual listening and more detailed library-based HiFi use.
TRIANGLE CAPELLA 2 ROOM CALIBRATION AND LISTENING CONTROL
Capella 2 includes an automatic room calibration system accessed through the Capella control app. Calibration can be performed via an iOS device or the optional Zen measurement microphone. Manual equalisation is available for users who prefer to customise tonal balance or adjust for system placement. Each speaker delivers 100 watts of Class D amplification, with independent amplification and DSP management for each driver.
TRIANGLE CAPELLA 2 PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Triangle Capella 2 system, including the two active speakers, Stereo Hub 2 and accessories, is listed at €2,499. Matching S05 speaker stands are €279 per pair, and the Lunar 3 turntable is €699. Availability is expected from early 2026.
