LYNGDORF LAUNCHES NEW MY LYNGDORF APP FOR STREAMING AMPLIFIERS AND PROCESSORS
Lyngdorf Audio has released the My Lyngdorf app, a new control application for its streaming amplifiers and MP processors.
The app features a simplified, icon-based interface aimed at improving usability by replacing browser-based system configuration with a dedicated mobile platform.
MY LYNGDORF APP OFFERS COMPLETE SYSTEM CONTROL
The app consolidates key control functions, allowing users to manage RoomPerfect™ calibration, speaker and woofer setup, input configuration, display options, and Voicing modes directly from a smartphone or tablet. It is designed for both initial system setup and routine daily operation.
Users can personalise the app by renaming inputs, creating and editing Voicings, and rearranging the layout to suit their preferences. Accessibility options include dark and light modes, large text, and compatibility with Apple VoiceOver to support a wide range of users.
MY LYNGDORF APP ENHANCES VOICING CONTROL AND INTEGRATES STREAMING AND RADIO FEATURES
The updated app provides a visual and interactive approach to Voicing settings. Users can see real-time visual representations of each Voicing mode and compare their impact on sound, allowing for clearer and more informed adjustments to system tuning.
The app offers integrated access to internet radio, podcasts, and streaming sources. An AI-powered search tool enables browsing by region, genre, or mood, while audio information such as sample rate and bit depth is displayed during playback. Saved stations can be set to automatically start playback and power on the system.
A revised volume control wheel and consistent layout offer more responsive navigation. Frequently used features are accessible through quick-access icons, designed to reduce time spent navigating through menus.
MY LYNGDORF APP COMPATIBLE WITH CURRENT AND FUTURE LYNGDORF MODELS
Developed alongside the new TDAI-2210 amplifier, the app provides full functionality with that model. It is also compatible with earlier Lyngdorf products via the Moxa interface. The app currently supports English, with additional languages planned.
The existing Lyngdorf Remote app remains available during a transitional period, but will no longer receive updates. Users are encouraged to adopt the new My Lyngdorf app for ongoing support and access to the latest features.
