OEPHI LOUNGE SERIES LOUDSPEAKERS LAUNCH IN THE UK

The OePhi Lounge Series loudspeakers are now available in the UK.

First shown at High End Munich 2025, the Danish-made Lounge 2 and Lounge 2.5 models aim to bring OePhi’s signature sound to a wider audience through a blend of minimalist design and precision acoustic engineering.

OEPHI LOUNGE SERIES OFFERS TWO MODELS

The Lounge Series comprises two options: the Lounge 2, a compact standmount loudspeaker, and the Lounge 2.5, a taller 2.5-way floorstander. Both are designed to offer detailed, engaging sound reproduction, with the Lounge 2 suited to more modest spaces and the Lounge 2.5 providing greater scale and low-frequency reach.

OePhi designs are centred around a philosophy of sonic neutrality. Founded by Joakim Juhl, a former Harvard scientist, the company focuses on eliminating distortion and colouration in pursuit of what it calls “truthful sound”. This approach is evident in the Lounge Series, which prioritises timing, transparency, and natural presentation.

TECHNICAL FEATURES IN THE OEPHI LOUNGE SERIES

The Lounge Series incorporates several proprietary technologies. Time Compensated XO ensures phase-aligned driver integration, while Transient Integrity Circuitry helps maintain dynamic accuracy and reduces system noise. The cabinets are designed with low energy storage to minimise resonance and support a more natural soundstage.

OEPHI LOUNGE 2

The Lounge 2 is a two-way standmount loudspeaker with a frequency range of 45Hz to 27kHz. It features 87dB sensitivity, 8Ω nominal impedance, and a power handling rating of 75W. Measuring 35 x 18.5 x 30cm and weighing 6.5kg, it is available in Oak, Walnut, Black Ash, and Satin White finishes.

OEPHI LOUNGE 2.5

The Lounge 2.5 is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker offering extended bass down to 35Hz, with 89.5dB sensitivity and a 6Ω nominal impedance. Rated at 150W power handling, it stands 1 metre tall and weighs 15kg. Like its smaller sibling, it comes in Oak, Walnut, Black Ash, and Satin White.

NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK

The OePhi Lounge Series is now available in the UK through distributor Airt Audio. The floorstander are priced at £4,500 and the standmounts at £2,700.
