ELAC has unveiled its latest powered bookshelf speaker system, the ELAC ConneX DCB61 Powered Bookshelf Speakers, building on the foundation of the previous award-winning DCB41 model.

This new version introduces a larger form factor and higher power output, aiming to deliver improved audio performance with the same focus on ease of use and modern functionality.

ELAC CONNEX DCB61

The ELAC ConneX DCB61 adopts a two-way active design, arranged in a master-slave configuration. The primary speaker includes dedicated Class D amplifiers for both drivers, which simplifies setup and ensures consistent power delivery. The system provides a total of 80 watts per channel, with a 60W amp for the 165mm polypropylene woofer and a 20W amp for the 19mm soft-dome tweeter.

ENHANCED SOUND WITH WAVEGUIDE TWEETER IN ELAC CONNEX DCB61

To ensure a wide and accurate sound dispersion, the tweeter in the ELAC ConneX DCB61 is mounted within a custom waveguide. This not only enhances high-frequency performance but also maintains clarity and detail across the speaker’s broad listening area. The resulting sound profile is suited for a range of listening scenarios, from music to home cinema.
