A special Limited Edition KIM from FinkTeam bids farewell to the MOC and hello to Vienna!

For twenty-one years, the MOC in Munich has been the premier destination for the global HiFi and high-end audio community. The decision to leave the charming but compact luxury hotel in Frankfurt was a bold one, and many within the high-end audio scene were understandably anxious about the future of this prestigious event.

Now, more than two decades later, the High-End Show has firmly established itself as the world’s leading event in its field. With the show set to move to Vienna next year, it’s the perfect moment to reflect on the many memorable years at the MOC in Munich.

FINKTEAM KIM MOC FAREWELL EDITION

To commemorate this special chapter, we’re producing a limited “MOC Farewell Edition” of our KIM loudspeaker in a unique version. Handmade by our master carpenter, Norbert Theisges, this edition features a substantial solid wood front baffle and a cabinet finished in specially selected colors that complement the exquisite woodwork. Karl-Heinz Fink has also introduced a new tweeter for enhanced sound quality, while the crossover includes our renowned auto transformer and carefully chosen components for a beautifully balanced sound.

Each pair will be individually numbered to correspond with the 21 years at the MOC, and customers may choose their preferred number—subject to availability.

And there’s more: with this special edition, FinkTeam will enter a new chapter. Karl-Heinz Fink has decided to pass ownership of the brand to Norbert Theisges—the “Team” in FinkTeam. Norbert has long been the driving force behind the scenes, and as a master carpenter with more than a decade of experience, he’s also become an exceptional listener and acoustics expert. He is the ideal person to guide the future of the brand and its products.

Rest assured, Karl-Heinz Fink will remain involved through Fink Audio-Consulting, continuing to collaborate on future innovations with Norbert.

It was at the MOC in Munich where the very first FinkTeam loudspeaker—created for our dear friend Ken Ishiwata—was unveiled to the world. So it feels fitting that, at our final Munich show, we mark this milestone by passing the torch and celebrating with our limited MOC Farewell Edition of the KIM.
