SPENDOR UNVEILS ENHANCED A-LINE MARK 2 LOUDSPEAKERS AT BRISTOL HIFI SHOW 2025
Spendor Audio Systems has announced the Mark 2 upgrade of its a A-Line series will debut at the Bristol HiFi Show 2025 next week.
The Sheffield-based company has refined the A-Line range, which includes the A1.2, A2.2, A4.2, and A7.2 models, introducing a series of design improvements aimed at delivering an even more immersive listening experience. Visitors to the show can meet the Spendor A-Line Mark 2 Speakers in the flesh.
SPENDOR A-LINE MARK 2 SPEAKERS
Each speaker in the Spendor A-Line Mark 2 series benefits from internal structural enhancements, including upgraded bracing and constrained layer damping using Sorbothane. These modifications help reduce cabinet resonance and time smearing, leading to cleaner sound reproduction with improved stereo imaging.
SPENDOR A1.2
The A1.2 bookshelf speaker remains the most accessible model in the lineup, retaining its compact design while incorporating a revised bracing structure and damping system.
SPENDOR A2.2
With a redesigned internal architecture and port tuning, the A2.2 floorstander delivers tighter bass and improved midrange clarity. Enhancements to its damping system reduce cabinet vibrations.
SPENDOR A4.2
The A4.2 introduces a new tweeter, improved internal bracing, and refinements to its crossover network, allowing for seamless driver integration. These upgrades enhance timing accuracy and transient response.
SPENDOR A7.2
Spendor’s flagship A7.2 floorstander benefits from extensive upgrades, including a revised port design for improved bass accuracy, a new tweeter for extended high-frequency performance, and an optimised crossover. A redesigned spider enhances cone control.

The Spendor A-Line Mark 2 series will be available for pre-order from the Bristol HiFi Show on 21st February 2025, with shipping commencing in April. The range comes in Oak, Walnut, Black Oak, and Satin White finishes. UK pricing is as follows:
