HIFI ROSE RS151 NETWORK STREAMER LAUNCHES
HiFi Rose has unveiled the HiFi Rose RS151 Network Streamer, the successor to the popular RS150 network streamer.
Incorporating new technology and an upgraded design, the HiFi Rose RS151 Network Streamer is available in the UK through Henley Audio’s dealer network.
HIFI ROSE RS151 NETWORK STREAMER
The RS151 integrates HiFi Rose’s Digital Processing Core (DPC) module, originally developed for the RD160 DAC. This technology synchronises incoming digital signals with a high-precision Femto clock, reducing jitter and enhancing accuracy. The inclusion of the latest ES9039PRO DAC chip ensures precise sound reproduction, improved channel separation, and minimal distortion, says HiFi Rose.
UPGRADED HARDWARE AND OPERATING SYSTEM
The HiFi Rose RS151 Network Streamer boasts a new octa-core processor, offering four times the data processing power and eight times the graphics performance of its predecessor. Running on a customised Android 12-based ROSE OS, it supports seamless music playback from local storage, streaming services, and CD ripping via an external optical drive. The device is also Roon Ready and compatible with Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music, and internet radio.
HIFI ROSE RS151 CONNECTIVITY AND DESIGN
Connectivity options have been expanded with HDMI eARC, Hi-Res Coax, AES/EBU, USB inputs and outputs, and Bluetooth 5.4 for premium wireless streaming. The RS151 features an elegant aluminium chassis with a 15.4-inch full-HD multi-touch screen, providing an intuitive user experience. High-quality components, including MELF resistors and WIMA capacitors are used to contribute to precise analogue signal processing and reduced noise.
ROSE NOISE REDUCTION
The RS151’s analogue stage incorporates the Rose Noise Reduction Analog (NRA) filter, minimising interference and ensuring a flat frequency response. An advanced power supply design enhances stability and suppresses unwanted noise.
