Lorenzo Audio Labs has announced the launch of a new loudspeaker model, the Lorenzo Audio Labs LM2.
Based in Granada, Spain, Lorenzo Audio Labs makes very high-end artisan loudspeakers and HiFi furniture.

We heard their flagship LM1 at High End Munich earlier this year and can confirm that the finish is even more beautiful in the flesh, we were also impressed with the sound in a system with Ypsilon electronics and Zensati cables.
LORENZO AUDIO LABS LM2
The Lorenzo Audio Labs LM2 is their second largest loudspeaker model. It is a powerful three-way design that has been designed to offer virtually the same sound quality as the flagship model. It is designed to be used in smaller rooms, although the team tells us thet “given its great potential, it can be used successfully in large spaces as well”.
CABINET
The solid cabinet is 62mm wide, manufactured with phenolic laminated wood and elastomer in a constrained-layer construction. It is made on 5-axis CNC machinery. The bass reflex ports are hand-turned using special tonewood. The cabinets are covered with natural wood veneer, carefully selected for its beauty and durability, and handcrafted by a fourth-generation craftsman. Other wood finishes are possible on request.
PANZERHOLZ WOOD
Panzerholz wood pieces, which are designed in-house, are used in critical places to improve the sound. This includes the nuts and bolts of the speaker connectors, insulating discs on the feet, and solid pieces that hold the drivers and eliminate the need for metal screws.
DRIVERS AND COMPONENTS
The Lorenzo Audio Labs LM2 utilises drivers with paper cones and alnico magnets, and high quality compression drivers. The speakers have a hand-welded passive crossover without printed circuits boards. Components from Duelund, Jupiter, Mundorf, and Pathaudio are used in the crossovers. The internal wiring of the speakers is made with high-purity copper, silver, and gold wire. The solid steel feet are designed in-house, with a base piece made from Panzerholz designed to remove vibrations that come from the floor.
