WIIM SOUND LITE SMART SPEAKER JOINS THE WIIM LINE-UP
WiiM has introduced the WiiM Sound Lite, a compact smart speaker designed for hi-res playback and flexible whole-home integration.
Available in the UK through Henley Audio’s dealer network, the WiiM Sound Lite Smart Speaker sits beneath the existing WiiM Sound in the range and forms part of the brand’s wider connected speaker ecosystem, offering a minimalist, display-free approach that aims to suit a variety of living spaces.
WIIM SOUND LITE SMART SPEAKER
The WiiM Sound Lite uses a 4-inch long-throw woofer and dual 1-inch silk-dome tweeters, delivering up to 100 W peak output with support for 24-bit/192 kHz audio. Its AI RoomFit feature uses a smartphone to tailor the sound to the room. The speaker can operate solo, as a stereo pair, or partnered with the larger WiiM Sound for mixed-model left/right channels. It can also serve as a centre or surround speaker in compatible 5.1 home cinema setups. The enclosure’s clean, display-free styling supports shelf placement, bedside use, wall-mounting or stand mounting.
STREAMING, CONNECTIVITY AND CONTROL
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet, with support for Google Cast, Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz Connect, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Roon, and Logitech Media Server. The WiiM Sound Lite can be grouped with any other WiiM speakers, amps, streamers or the WiiM Sub Pro for multi-room listening. Control is handled via the WiiM Home App, which unifies playback management, EQ, device grouping, presets and alarms. Smart Presets and Music Alarms enable simple daily-use routines, while the optional WiiM Voice Remote 2 adds hands-free operation.

The WiiM Sound Lite will be available in Black or White from early January, with pre-orders opening before Christmas. The suggested retail price is £229. Available through Henley Audio’s dealer network in the UK.
