WIIM PRO STREAMERS HAVE NOW RECEIVED ROON READY CERTIFICATION
WiiM Pro, the versatile budget music streamer, currently finding a lot of favour with audiophiles, has received “Roon Ready” certification from Roon Labs.
Developed by Linkplay Technology Inc, a global technology company specializing in smart home products, the WiiM Pro allows users to transform their analogue audio equipment into a modern, network-connected system at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new setup.

Roon is a comprehensive music browsing, organizing, and listening platform that offers an immersive experience. It automatically retrieves artist photos, credits, bios, reviews, lyrics, tour dates, and composer information, creating an interconnected digital magazine-like interface. By becoming Roon Ready, the WiiM Pro offers a multi-room, multi-user networked audio platform with features such as bit-perfect playback, DSD and PCM upsampling, multichannel support, and Signal Path display.
ROON CORE
Being Roon Ready means that WiiM Pro streamers seamlessly discover and connect to Roon without requiring any additional configuration, ensuring the delivery of bit-perfect audio from Roon to the streamer. This integration provides users with the power, flexibility, and performance of networked audio, offering an easy setup process and high reliability. Roon is compatible with most Mac, Windows, and Linux PCs, as well as other products that include Roon Core.
OTA UPDATE
The WiiM Pro is currently available at $149 or £149 Existing WiiM Pro users will receive an over-the-air update notification to enable the Roon Ready features on their devices.
