VIOLECTRIC HPA V324 HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER NOW AVAILABLE IN THE UK THROUGH ELECTROMOD
The new Violectric HPA V324 headphone amplifier is now available in the UK through distributor Electromod.
First shown at High End Munich World of Headphones 2025, where HiFi PiG’s Oscar had a listen, the V324 is Violectric’s latest pure-analogue design for discerning headphone users.
ELECTROMOD BRINGS VIOLECTRIC HPA V324 TO THE UK
Hand-built in Germany by Lake People, the HPA V324 has a compact 17 x 25 cm footprint and can also function as a high-quality preamplifier for power amps or active loudspeakers. The chassis is constructed from thick black anodised aluminium, with a 6mm laser-engraved front panel and classic analogue VU meters with adjustable backlighting.
BALANCED CIRCUITRY IN THE VIOLECTRIC HPA V324
The amplifier employs a true balanced, fully differential topology with four separate amplifier stages. Power is supplied via an ultra-low-noise 25W toroidal transformer, designed to deliver clean performance with minimal distortion.
POWER HANDLING ON THE VIOLECTRIC HPA V324 FROM ELECTROMOD
With up to 5000mW into 50 ohms and more than 21V into 600 ohms, the HPA V324 is able to drive headphones of all types, from sensitive IEMs to high-impedance models. Multiple protective circuits guard against overload, DC, and thermal issues, with a front-panel LED to indicate any faults.
CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS ON THE VIOLECTRIC HPA V324
The amplifier includes three front-panel headphone outputs: balanced 4-pin XLR, balanced 4.4mm Pentaconn, and single-ended 6.35mm. Rear inputs and outputs are provided on both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA, with the option to bypass volume for fixed-level line output.
A motorised Alps RK27 potentiometer handles volume, enabling IR remote control, while a six-step pre-gain system allows input signal matching and optimisation for different headphone types. All controls are fully analogue, in line with the amplifier’s design philosophy.
