VERTERE SOLO MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE AND VERTERE LUNA LINEAR DC POWER SUPPLY LAUNCHED
British HiFi brand Vertere has launched the new Vertere SOLO Moving Coil Cartridge and Vertere LunA Linear DC Power Supply.
Vertere has announced two new products for vinyl playback systems: the Vertere SOLO moving coil cartridge and the Vertere LunA dedicated linear DC power supply.
The Vertere SOLO is a mono moving coil cartridge designed to reproduce the lateral groove information found in mono records, while the LunA is a standalone linear DC supply intended to support Vertere DG turntables and Tempo motor drives.
VERTERE SOLO MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE
The Vertere SOLO moving coil cartridge uses an aluminium alloy body with a four-point fixing system intended to improve mechanical stability and control vibration. The cartridge features a low-mass moving coil generator matched to a telescopic aluminium cantilever and a Shibata III nude diamond stylus. The design focuses on accurate tracking of lateral groove modulations while minimising vertical signal components.
The generator is engineered for mono signal retrieval, aiming to reduce distortion and noise while maintaining resolution and channel balance. The cartridge has a stated output of 0.4mV, a frequency response of 10Hz to 45kHz, and a recommended tracking force of 2.15g. Construction includes a samarium-cobalt magnet system and Vertere’s tri-point headshell mounting and quad-point generator support structure.
VERTERE LUNA LINEAR DC POWER SUPPLY
The Vertere LunA linear DC power supply is designed as an upgrade for DG-series turntables (DG-1, DG-1S and DG-X) and the Tempo motor drive. The unit delivers a regulated 30V DC output with a maximum current of 4.5A and is derived from the power supply architecture used in Vertere’s Imperium motor drive.
The LunA uses a toroidal transformer, low-noise DC circuitry and high-power regulation to provide a stable power source for motor drive electronics. It is housed in an aluminium enclosure with a steel chassis and includes a captive DC output cable. The unit is compatible with Vertere DG and Tempo systems and can be used with optional matching front panels for visual integration.

Both products are scheduled to be available from the beginning of March. The Vertere SOLO moving coil cartridge is priced at £2,850 UK MRRP and the Vertere LunA linear DC power supply is priced at £1,200 UK MRRP.
