UNITRA LAUNCHES IN UK WITH THE AUDIO BUSINESS DISTRIBUTION
Polish HiFi manufacturer Unitra has officially entered the UK and Irish markets, appointing Wiltshire-based distributor The Audio Business as its exclusive partner.
This marks the first time Unitra’s products will be available through UK specialist audio retailers.
UNITRA RANGE BLENDS VINTAGE STYLING WITH MODERN PERFORMANCE
Designed and built in Warsaw, Unitra’s current product lineup includes integrated amplifiers, direct-drive turntables, digital sources, loudspeakers, and accessories. With strong nods to the golden era of HiFi, Unitra combines retro aesthetics with precision-engineered, modern electronics—designed for music lovers who value both performance and longevity.
THE AUDIO BUSINESS TO LEAD UK SALES AND SUPPORT FOR UNITRA
The Audio Business will oversee sales, dealer support, and marketing for the Unitra brand in the UK and Ireland. Alan Porter, Partner at The Audio Business, noted, “As soon as we saw Unitra’s products, we knew they were right for us—beautifully made, musically honest, and supported by passionate people.”
UNITRA INTEGRATED AMPLIFIERS FOCUS ON MUSICAL PURITY
The WSH-805 is Unitra’s flagship integrated amplifier, offering 80W per channel into 8 ohms and a dual mono design. It features selectable Class A or Class AB operation, RCA and XLR inputs, a headphone output, and switchable MM/MC phono stages. Below it sits the WSH-605, a 70W per channel stereo amplifier that includes an onboard ESS Sabre DAC, MM input, and headphone output.
UNITRA TURNTABLES BUILT AROUND IN-HOUSE DESIGNS
The Unitra turntable lineup includes two models featuring the brand’s own NB1 direct-drive mechanism and U10 tonearm. Both models are housed in natural wooden plinths available in walnut or black ash. The GSH-801 includes an outboard linear power supply and ships with an Ortofon 2M Black MM cartridge, while the GSH-630 comes with a built-in power supply and an Ortofon 2M Red.
UNITRA CSH-801 CD PLAYER OFFERS MODERN FUNCTIONALITY
The CSH-801 CD player supports CD-Audio, WAV, and MP3 formats and includes a 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC. Designed to sit comfortably in modern digital and analogue systems, it features an E Ink backlit display, coaxial and optical digital outputs, and analogue RCA output.
UNITRA LOUDSPEAKERS EMPLOY BOX-IN-BOX CABINET DESIGN
Unitra’s loudspeakers feature a ‘box-in-box’ construction that improves cabinet rigidity and minimises resonance. The ZGB-401 is a 2-way standmount speaker using a bass reflex design, while the ZGZ-801 is a high-efficiency, 3-way floorstanding model featuring an infinite baffle layout aimed at delivering dynamic and uncoloured sound.
UNITRA ACCESSORIES INCLUDE CABLES AND SPECIALIST TEST LPs
Completing the range are two speaker cables: the KG40 (£609, 4mm OFC copper) and the KG25 (£249, 2.5mm OFC copper), both finished in natural yarn sheathing. Unitra also offers two vinyl test records—LP-01 (£59) for turntable setup and calibration, and LP-02 (£129) designed for detailed laboratory-grade testing.
