Trinnov, Sonus faber, McIntosh CEDIA 2022 11.12.6 Home Cinema System
TRINNOV, SONUS FABER, MCINTOSH, OFFICINA ACUSTICA, MADVR LABS AND KALEIDESCAPE PARTNER FOR CEDIA IMMERSIVE HOME CINEMA DEMO
The high-end brands will combine for an immersive 11.12.6 Home Cinema System in Booth 26097 at CEDIA from the 29th of September to the 1st of October 2022 in Dallas, Texas.
Partnering for the CEDIA presentation are Trinnov Audio, McIntosh, Sonus faber, Officina Acustica, Kaleidescape and madVR Labs. An 11.12.6 channel demo system will showcase the high level of immersive sound and vision that the brands can deliver together.
CEDIA 2022 11.12.6 HOME CINEMA SYSTEM
The system will comprise:
Trinnov Audio
Providing 29 channels of audio processing and room optimisation, Trinnov Audio’s Altitude32, is the heart of the system, with Dolby Atmos processing and the sonic benefits of Trinnov’s Loudspeaker/Room Optimizer.
McIntosh
A mix of 19 McIntosh monoblock, stereo, and multi-channel power amplifiers delivering 14,000 watts of power to the demo theatre will be used.
Sonus faber
Sonus faber’s array of 17 loudspeakers and 12 subwoofers, positioned according to Dolby Atmos specifications, will create the 11.12.6 channel immersive audio environment. Known for their Italian craftsmanship, Sonus faber’s latest custom installation speaker collection uses natural materials.
Kaleidescape
The digital provider of movies with lossless audio and full reference video quality will provide their Terra movie server and Strato C movie player.
madVR Labs
Video processing with madVR Envy Extreme video processor.
Officina Acustica
Responsible for the room’s design, engineered acoustics and on-site construction. The outer room shell and the room interior that integrates highly engineered acoustics were manufactured in Italy, and then built on the show floor in three days by Officina Acustica.
Also providing equipment for the demonstration are Barco, with a 9,000 lumen Njord CS laser projector, and Seymour Screen Excellence, with a 165 inch wide 2.35 Cinemascope screen.
