Throughout Totem Acoustic’s 38 year history, the 2-way monitor loudspeaker has played a very significant role. Now the Canadian HiFi brand is launching the Totem Acoustic KIN ONE.
The Totem Acoustic KIN ONE is a completely redesigned entry-level model in Totem’s KIN “companion-brand” lineup.
TOTEM ACOUSTIC KIN ONE
The Totem Acoustic KIN ONE, is a loudspeaker that incorporates advanced technology from its higher-end models, including the “Model One” and “Element FIRE v2.” The KIN ONE features custom proprietary drivers, including the MHEX woofer, which combines the stiffness of metal with the responsiveness of paper, and a titanium-infused soft dome tweeter. These components are designed to work together to achieve a precise phase response and high performance.
The KIN ONE’s cabinet design, reminiscent of the Element Fire v2 but in a smaller form, enhances bass tuning and reduces resonances. The 2nd order crossover, made with just seven precision components, maximises performance. Additionally, an “L shaped” port design allows the speaker to produce frequencies below 65Hz, reaching down to 40Hz at -12dB. The KIN ONE is available in five satin finishes and offers flexible placement options.
