September has been an exciting month for us at Hifi Pig Towers. There has been lots happening, plenty of news and of course we went to London for The Indulgence Show 2017.

French loudspeaker and headphone manufacturer, Focal, is paying tribute to Gérard Chrétien, an iconic figure of the hifi world. Fan of sound and music, this fascinating and passionate man had made his mark on Focal history since 1990.

Ian Ringstead recently reviewed the EB 2 from Arcaydis and now focuses on the smaller EB1S. Like the EB2 it is made in Sheffield in the UK.

Bryston at RMAF October 6th-8th 2017
Bryston’s Gary Dayton will be at RMAF, demo room 1018 for the debut of the new BP-17 Cubed preamplifier.
Amphion Loudspeakers At Indulgence 2017
Finnish manufacturer Amphion Loudspeakers will be exhibiting at the Indulgence Show in London, United Kingdom, September 29 – October 1, 2017. The company is represented by its British sales representative Auden Distribution and will be featuring in various setups in three different rooms.
RMB Loudspeakers 12/3 and 22/3
Dominic Marsh takes a listen to two somewhat unusually designed loudspeakers from UK manufacturer RMB. The larger floorstanding 22/3 model costs £1850 a pair and the smaller 12/3 standmount costing £1200.

SCV At The Indulgence Show
Not long to go to The Indulgence Show 2017 which will feature more than 160 exhibitors. SCV will be showcasing an array of home audio, portable audio and headphone products in-keeping with the show’s high-end aesthetic.
Aluminous Audio Velvet Isolation Modules
Aluminous Audio have released their new Velvet Isolation Modules. Each module is 6 inches in diameter with a total assembled height of 4 inches. They can be used with threaded feet locations or simply place a component or speaker on top of the modules.
