SV-Audio Astrid Loudspeaker World Premiere At High End Vienna 2026
SV-AUDIO ASTRID JOINS THE DANISH BRAND’S LOUDSPEAKER RANGE
Danish HiFi brand SV-Audio will use High End Vienna 2026 to unveil the SV-Audio Astrid loudspeaker, a new model positioned between the company’s Gro and Fenja speakers.
Designed and built in Denmark, SV-Audio Astrid is a 2-way passive floorstanding loudspeaker that employs a line source configuration.
SV-AUDIO ASTRID LOUDSPEAKER
The SV-Audio Astrid is built around four 5-inch woven polypropylene drivers operating across the same frequency range, combined with a 38mm silk dome ring radiator tweeter using a neodymium motor system. According to SV-Audio, the speaker has been developed as a true line source design, with the aim of delivering consistent dispersion and a stable soundstage.
CABINET AND CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
The loudspeaker uses a dual-chamber bass reflex cabinet with rear porting and features a solid aluminium front baffle incorporating the company’s machined logo and distinctive radiating pattern. SV-Audio says the design also incorporates precise driver integration and time alignment as part of its overall engineering approach.
SV-AUDIO ASTRID SPECIFICATIONS
Astrid offers a quoted frequency response of 32Hz to 20kHz (±3dB), sensitivity of 90dB and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms. Recommended amplifier power is between 25 and 250 watts, while SV-Audio suggests the speaker is suitable for rooms up to 80 square metres. Each speaker measures 30 x 106 x 60cm and weighs 37kg. Standard Satin Gloss finishes start at €41,950, with Standard High Gloss versions priced at €44,950.

The SV-Audio Astrid will make its global debut at High End Vienna 2026, taking place from 4th–7th June 2026 at the Austria Center Vienna. Visitors can find SV-Audio in Sound Cabin X5-V01 and Rooms 3.65 / 3.66.
