STEINWAY CUSTOM MARINE SPEAKERS FOR A CROATIAN YACHT
HiFi gets adapted to some very specialist situations, probably non more specialist than on a yacht, with the very particular challenges that conditions on a boat bring.
A customer of Steinway Lyngdorf partner TD Elektronika, in Croatia, wanted to upgrade the HiFi system on his yacht. He had tried different HiFi solutions but was disappointed with the sound, needing an effective solution for an open space, where the speaker must have durability and be able to withstand the different conditions on a yacht, TD Elektronika suggested Steinway Lyngdorf.

The Steinway & Sons Marine Speaker is usually available with a gold trim, but for this installation in Croatia, has been customised with chrome. The sealed aluminium enclosure has a special lacquering, and the drive-units are protected against salt water, spray water, splash water, and other weather conditions, with an IP65 rating, making it suitable for outdoor use and near swimming pools, and of course, on yachts.
The system was completed with a Steinway & Sons P100 processor and an A2 amplifier.
