Norwegian HiFi brand Sigberg Audio has unveiled the Sigberg Audio Saranna, an active full-range floorstanding speaker.
Pre-orders open on 18th March 2025, with shipping expected in August.
SIGBERG AUDIO SARANNA
At the heart of the Saranna is an 8-inch coaxial main driver, equipped with high-powered neodymium magnets. This design ensures the speaker functions as a true point source, offering precise imaging and a wide soundstage.
CARDIOID MIDRANGE DESIGN FOR CLARITY
The Saranna employs a vented midrange chamber to minimise unwanted reflections. This cardioid design improves sound clarity, particularly in the upper bass and lower midrange.
REAR-MOUNTED SUBWOOFERS FOR DEEP BASS
Two 8-inch subwoofer drivers are positioned at the rear of the cabinet. This setup helps to maintain a slim front profile while leveraging wall coupling for extended bass response down to 20Hz.
ADAPTABLE TO REAL ROOMS
Designed for flexibility, the Saranna can be optimised for different listening environments at the press of a button. Whether positioned close to a wall or in an open space, the speaker maintains tight bass and a large soundstage.
