SENNHEISER HDB 630 HEADPHONES LAUNCHED
The new Sennheiser HDB 630 headphones are designed to deliver high-quality audiophile sound in both wired and wireless listening.
Drawing on the design of the brand’s popular MOMENTUM 4 series, the HDB 630 brings enhanced tuning, refined comfort, and flexible connectivity options aimed at enthusiasts who want uncompromised sound at home or on the move.

The Sennheiser HDB 630 features a 42mm dynamic transducer produced at the company’s Tullamore facility in Ireland. The driver is supported by a range of acoustic treatments aimed at accuracy and balance, rather than exaggerated effects.

According to Sennheiser’s Senior Product Manager, Wee Hong Kuan, the goal was to give listeners a consistent level of quality in both wired and wireless modes, without compromise.
HIGH-RESOLUTION AUDIO OPTIONS
The HDB 630 can connect via USB Type-C or a traditional 3.5mm analogue cable, with playback support up to 24-bit/96kHz for high-resolution listening. Wireless performance comes via Bluetooth 5.2, with aptX Adaptive codec support for improved stability and fidelity.
For devices lacking native high-resolution wireless audio, the headphones include a USB Type-C transmitter dongle. This accessory enables aptX Adaptive transmission from most smartphones and tablets, extending high-resolution compatibility to around 80% of models that do not support it natively.
ADVANCED SOUND CUSTOMISATION WITH SENNHEISER HDB 630
Sennheiser has equipped the HDB 630 with extensive sound adjustment options through its Smart Control Plus app. In addition to standard EQ presets, the headphones include a five-band equaliser and a new Parametric Equalizer that allows users to fine-tune frequency response and bandwidth.
A Crossfeed mode, inspired by Sennheiser’s flagship HE 1 system, gently blends stereo channels to create a more natural, speaker-like soundstage, an advantage for recordings with hard-panned mixes. Users can also share and download EQ presets, with future updates adding QR code sharing for easier community exchange.
Acoustic Engineer Tobias Ritter explained that the tuning aims for balanced tonality with extended but controlled bass, maintaining a detailed and emotionally engaging presentation whether in wired or wireless use.
COMFORT, BUILD, AND NOISE CONTROL
Designed for travel and long listening sessions, the Sennheiser HDB 630 offers up to 60 hours of battery life and supports fast charging that delivers seven hours of playback from a ten-minute charge. Its Adaptive Noise Cancellation system reduces environmental sound effectively, while transparency and voice call modes are handled through integrated microphones.

The build incorporates a lightweight structure and a headband wrapped in Japanese Protein Leatherette from IDEATEX™, chosen for its softness and durability. The headphones come with a protective case and a full set of accessories, including USB Type-C and 3.5mm cables, an airline adapter, and the Bluetooth transmitter dongle.
