SCANSONICHD LAUNCHES M SERIES LOUDSPEAKERS
Scansonic has unveiled its ScansonicHD M Series Loudspeakers, a trio of loudspeakers designed to bring high-end performance to a wider audience.
The range consists of the M15.2 standmount, the M20.2 floorstander, and the flagship M30.2 floorstander. All three models incorporate technology inspired by ScansonicHD’s sister brand, Raidho, delivering premium sound quality at competitive prices.
SCANSONICHD M SERIES LOUDSPEAKERS
Each model in the M Series features a ribbon tweeter, chosen for its ability to produce highly detailed and airy highs. Compared to traditional dome tweeters, the ribbon design offers a faster transient response and lower distortion.
PASSIVE RADIATORS FOR CONTROLLED BASS
Rather than relying on bass reflex ports, ScansonicHD has incorporated rear-facing passive radiators into all M Series models. This design enhances bass depth and control while reducing unwanted port noise, ensuring a cleaner, more impactful low-end performance.
MULTI-MATERIAL CONE DESIGN FOR BALANCED MIDRANGE
The M Series mid-bass drivers utilise a specially designed four-material sandwich membrane. This construction balances strength and flexibility, preventing unwanted resonances and delivering a more natural midrange and bass response.
HIGH-QUALITY CROSSOVER COMPONENTS
ScansonicHD has employed premium-grade crossover components, including high-quality capacitors, inductors, and resistors. This attention to detail ensures seamless integration between drivers, improved phase alignment, and a more cohesive soundstage.
THREE MODELS TO SUIT DIFFERENT NEEDS
M15.2 – A 2-way standmount speaker with a 6.5-inch mid-bass driver and a 5×9-inch rear passive radiator, designed for smaller to mid-sized rooms.
M20.2– A 2.5-way floorstanding speaker featuring dual 5.25-inch mid-bass drivers and two 5×9-inch passive radiators, offering deeper bass and a fuller sound.
M30.2 – A 3-way floorstanding model with a dedicated 4.5-inch midrange driver, dual 6.5-inch bass drivers, and two 5×9-inch passive radiators for powerful, controlled bass and an expansive soundstage.
SCANSONICHD M SERIES LOUDSPEAKERS PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The ScansonicHD M Series will be available from April 2025 in black or white satin gloss finishes. Pricing for the European market is as follows:
– M15.2: EUR 1,500 per pair
– M20.2: EUR 2,600 per pair
– M30.2: EUR 3,500 per pair
