Raidho X1.6 Reference Standmount Loudspeaker
RAIDHO X1.6 REFERENCE COMPACT SPEAKER LAUNCHED AHEAD OF HIGH END VIENNA 2026
Danish loudspeaker brand Raidho Acoustics has announced the new Raidho X1.6 Reference, a compact standmount loudspeaker that builds on the company’s existing X1.6 model.
Handbuilt in Denmark, the new Raidho X1.6 Reference Standmount Loudspeaker incorporates upgraded crossover components, revised internal cabling and a rear-mounted passive radiator designed to increase bass output and overall scale from a compact cabinet.
RAIDHO X1.6 REFERENCE
The Raidho X1.6 Reference uses a handbuilt crossover featuring Mundorf components and Nordost Valhalla technology cabling throughout the speaker and crossover network. According to Raidho, the changes are intended to improve openness, dynamics and low-level detail retrieval.
The speaker also uses Raidho’s in-house ribbon tweeter alongside a 6.5-inch ceramic/aluminium bass-mid driver, both manufactured at the company’s Danish facility. Raidho says this allows greater control over the loudspeaker’s overall performance and voicing.
RAIDHO X1.6 REFERENCE BASS DESIGN
A key addition to the Raidho X1.6 Reference is a rear-mounted passive radiator, which the company says delivers greater bass weight and scale than the standard X1.6. The design is intended to give the compact loudspeaker a presentation closer to that of a small floorstanding speaker while maintaining a relatively small footprint.
HANDMADE IN DENMARK
Each Raidho X1.6 Reference loudspeaker is assembled by hand in Denmark. The cabinet, crossover, drivers and internal wiring have all been developed as part of a complete system, with the company continuing its Scandinavian-inspired industrial design approach.
NEW RAIDHO / SCANSONIC STAND
Alongside the new loudspeaker, Raidho has also introduced a dedicated speaker stand compatible with Raidho and Scansonic compact loudspeakers. The stand will be available in black or white finishes and has been designed to complement the mechanical and visual requirements of the company’s standmount speakers.

The Raidho X1.6 Reference and the new Raidho / Scansonic stand will make their public debut at High End Vienna 2026, taking place from 4th to 7th June 2026 at the Austria Center Vienna.
RAIDHO X1.6 REFERENCE PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Raidho X1.6 Reference has a recommended retail price of EUR 10,000 per pair. The new Raidho / Scansonic stand is priced at EUR 500 per pair. Availability is expected following the product’s introduction at Vienna 2026.
