QUALIO IQ LOUDSPEAKERS FROM THE CUBE AUDIO TEAM
The Qualio IQ Loudspeakers are a new brand and speaker from the team behind Cube Audio.
Many of you will know the name Cube Audio, a brand we have been championing for years, who make their full-range drivers and loudspeakers in Poland. You can read our review of their Jazzon widebanders here.
While we were in Warsaw at the Audio Video Show Warsaw 2022, we were introduced to Cube’s new loudspeaker brand, Qualio and heard the new Qualio IQ Loudspeakers.
A NEW CHALLENGE
Grzegorz and Marek, the guys behind Cube Audio had decided that they wanted a new challenge, Grzegorz told us: “Marek and I decided to create a completely new brand – Qualio with affordable speakers that offer great value for money and still allow you to enjoy music at home at a very reasonable price. However, we quickly realized that we’re only interested in designing high end speakers, so we created something very special, a 3-way speaker the Qualio IQ”.
QUALIO IQ LOUDSPEAKERS
The Qualio IQ Loudspeakers use high-end components from Mundorf, Jantzen, WBT and Satori for the crossover parts, pure copper wiring and connectors and drivers. The mid-range is a Satori driver which gives an extension to 15 kHz and it is accompanied by a Mundorf AMT driver used as a super-tweeter that covers frequency to 31 kHz. They both are placed in open baffle on the top of the speaker. Bass is delivered by 9 .5″ Satori driver capable of delivering bass down to 28Hz.
SUPER TWEETER
The Mundorf AMT dipole super tweeter is available with two or five-point regulation.
