First seen at the North West Audio Show 2025 a couple of weekends ago, the turntable is a first for the brand, known for their guitar amplifiers and now, their accessible HiFi products. It looks like a great product to appeal to those younger listeners out there and a great place o start on their vinyl listening journey.

ORANGE O TURNTABLE

The Orange O Turntable is equipped with a built-in moving magnet phono stage and a preamplifier, allowing direct connection to any line input without needing an external phono stage. This simplifies setup for users, making it compatible with a wide range of hi-fi systems straight out of the box.

ORANGE O DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

The turntable boasts a gloss white finish with the iconic Orange “Voice of the World” logo on its plinth, giving it a distinctive appearance. It measures 447 x 117 x 360 mm and weighs 4.35 kg, balancing portability with solid build quality. A clear dust cover is included for protection.

MOTOR AND DRIVE SYSTEM

Orange uses a 24V synchronous motor paired with an aluminium pulley and durable drive belt to ensure smooth, consistent rotation and low noise operation. The phenolic platter, 23 mm thick, acts as a flywheel to maintain stable speed and reduce vibrations.

TONEARM AND CARTRIDGE

The deck comes with a precision-engineered aluminium tonearm featuring low-friction bearings and an auto-bias mechanism. It ships pre-fitted with the Orange O Carbon MM cartridge, providing a reliable tracking performance for vinyl playback.

AUDIO SPECIFICATIONS

The built-in phono stage offers a gain of 40 dB with a frequency response from 14 Hz to 100 kHz (-0.6 dB). The output impedance is 1 kΩ, suitable for integration with most audio systems.
