OPHIDIAN FFION AND SEREN LOUDSPEAKERS AT NORTH WEST AUDIO SHOW 2025

British loudspeaker brand Ophidian Audio is returning to the North West Audio Show 2025 with two systems on demonstration, including their award-winning FFION loudspeakers.

Visitors will find the FFION system upstairs in the Faraday Suite at Cranage 2025.

OPHIDIAN FFION LOUDSPEAKERS IN THE FARADAY SUITE

FFION is a 3-way floorstanding design featuring a discreetly integrated 8-inch bass driver located in the base of the speaker. The tall, slim cabinet is engineered to deliver wide sound dispersion and refined imaging, offering the spatial precision typically associated with more compact loudspeakers. The design allows the FFION to combine room-filling dynamics with elegant proportions.

The FFION is available in a range of real wood finishes, as well as bespoke lacquer options, and is priced at £8,500.

WORLD FIRST FOR OPHIDIAN SEREN STANDMOUNT

Making its global debut at NWAS 2025 is the Ophidian SEREN, a brand new standmount loudspeaker, which will be on show downstairs in room 105, hosted by Audio Dreams.

SEREN introduces a more traditional aesthetic, with a real wood veneered cabinet offered in oak and walnut finishes. Internally, the speaker benefits from a 7-inch bass driver supported by Ophidian’s proprietary Aeroflex bass loading system. This technology is designed to enhance low-frequency performance and improve dynamic range, particularly in smaller rooms.

The SEREN also incorporates Mundorf crossover components and SEAS tweeters, selected for their audio fidelity and reliability. Binding posts from WBT ensure a solid connection for speaker cable termination. SEREN will be available in the UK from July at £2,800 including VAT.

OPHIDIAN AUDIO AT CRANAGE 2025

Ophidian Audio’s dual presence at Cranage 2025 gives North West Audio Show visitors a chance to experience both the flagship FFION and the brand new SEREN in two distinct systems. The FFION loudspeakers can be heard in the Faraday Suite on the first floor, while the SEREN makes its debut in Room 105, part of the Audio Dreams exhibit on the ground floor.
