Ophidian Incanto Loudspeaker
NEW THREE WAY FLOORSTANDING OPHIDIAN INCANTO LOUDSPEAKER
British manufacturer Ophidian has launched the latest evolution of their mid-size three-way floorstanding loudspeaker, the Ophidian Incanto.
Gareth James of Ophidian told us “Incanto is the spiritual successor to the P3 Evolution. This mid-sized 3-way design uses many elements of the former speaker in combination with technology from our new flagship Voodoo loudspeaker”.
OPHIDIAN INCANTO LOUDSPEAKER
The Ophidian Incanto Loudspeaker features triple 175mm bass drivers coupled to Ophidian’s Aeroflex bass loading technology. Key to the tonal balance is a 50mm soft dome midrange driver in a sealed unit. The highest frequencies are handled by the same 22mm dome tweeter as featured in the flagship Ophidian VooDoo loudspeaker.
CROSSOVER
The Ophidian Incanto Loudspeaker uses the crossover components from manufacturer Mundorf including air cored coils and metal oxide resistors. As with all Ophidian speakers the cabinet is manufactured in the UK.
OPHIDIAN INCANTO LOUDSPEAKER PRICING
Incanto will retail for £6,000 inc. VAT in the UK and is available in Oak or Walnut real wood veneer finishes with custom optional finishes at customer request.
