LOCKWOOD LOUDSPEAKERS ANNOUNCES NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN HAMILTON, SCOTLAND

Lockwood Loudspeakers has announced the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Hamilton, Scotland.
The site has been developed as part of the company’s wider expansion and investment strategy.
LOCKWOOD LOUDSPEAKERS MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES
The Hamilton facility is a fully integrated production site covering all stages of loudspeaker manufacture. Processes on site include cabinet construction, veneering, assembly, and final quality control. The company has recruited a skilled team of local craftspeople to support production.
By investing in Scotland, Lockwood Loudspeakers has underlined its commitment to regional industry and traditional British loudspeaker engineering. Founded in 1930, the company has long been associated with hand-built designs and artisanal manufacturing methods.
The company’s designs have been used in professional and home listening environments, and have been associated with numerous successful recordings over the decades.
CONTINUING OPERATIONS IN GERRARDS CROSS
Lockwood Loudspeakers’ Head Office, Research and Development, Branding and Marketing, Special Ops division, and demonstration facilities will remain at the company’s base in Gerrards Cross, London. This ensures continuity in design and leadership alongside the new Scottish production site.
NEW APPOINTMENTS AT LOCKWOOD LOUDSPEAKERS
The company has also announced two senior appointments to support its global operations. Andrew Provan has joined as Operations Director, with responsibility for supply chain management and production across UK sites. Vince Wade has been appointed Sales Director, focusing on developing international sales and expanding the brand’s customer base.
