The cooperation is intended to provide high-quality cassettes for both playback and recording. A dedicated production line from National Audio is being installed at the Villingen facility, making Revox one of the largest cassette production operations in Europe.
The alliance aims to ensure analogue sound reproduction that closely reflects studio recordings. Revox is positioning itself as the only supplier currently offering three cassette tape qualities, including a Type II version compatible with chrome tapes.
Christoph Frey, CEO of Revox, said the cooperation offers “new diversity in music recordings” for analogue enthusiasts. Steve and Phil Stepp, President and Vice President of National Audio, described the collaboration as a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in cassette production.
