The Nagra Compact Player is a new digital source component designed to bring the company’s approach to audio reproduction into a more compact and accessible format.

The Swiss-made Nagra Compact Player is positioned as a complete digital source, combining a streaming platform with an integrated DAC stage.

NAGRA COMPACT PLAYER

The Nagra Compact Player uses a D/A converter with Nagra’s proprietary clock implementation and power regulation system, developed in line with the engineering approach seen across the company’s existing range.

NAGRA COMPACT PLAYER STREAMING AND CONNECTIVITY FEATURES

Streaming support includes access to Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify and AirPlay 2. Local playback is supported via UPnP/DLNA network streaming or USB storage. Control is handled through a mobile interface designed to manage playback and library navigation.

FORM FACTOR AND CONSTRUCTION

The Nagra Compact Player is housed in a CNC-machined aluminium chassis designed to provide mechanical stability and reduce vibration. Its compact footprint is intended for integration into modern living spaces or smaller installations, while maintaining the construction standards associated with Nagra components.

NAGRA COMPACT PLAYER AS A SYSTEM HUB

The unit is intended to function in a range of system configurations. These include use as the main source in a minimalist system connected directly to a power amplifier or active loudspeakers, or as a digital source within a larger system. The product is also positioned as a starting point for users entering the Nagra ecosystem.

Optional upgrades for the Compact Player include an external power supply and vibration control solutions. These upgrades are designed to improve operational stability and reduce noise, offering a route for users to expand system performance over time.
