Monitor Audio Group Restructure Senior Management
MONITOR AUDIO GROUP, PARENT COMPANY OF MONITOR AUDIO, ROKSAN AND BLOK, RESTRUCTURE SENIOR MANAGEMENT
Monitor Audio Group, the British owned and managed parent company of Monitor Audio, Roksan and Blok, is boosting its senior management team with the promotion of Robert Barford and the appointment of Richard Page.
ROBERT BARFORD – MONITOR AUDIO GROUP CEO
Robert commented: “Since joining the Group five years ago, I have seen the company develop its dealer base, brands, products and people. We work with exceptional business partners and have supported and recruited some of the best talent in the industry. The Group has a bright future and I am proud to have the opportunity as CEO to lead the team, work with our partners, and build on our success.” His promotion will leave him with ultimate responsibility for the operational management of the Group from 1st April 2022.
Andrew Flatt, Executive Chairman, added: “I would like to congratulate Robert on this well-deserved promotion. Having invested heavily in the product pipeline, the Group has grown to over 100 employees with 40 staff working in product development. In line with best corporate governance, this means now is the time to split the CEO and chairman roles. I look forward to working actively with Robert and the management team on developing and implementing the Group’s strategy over the coming years”.
RICHARD PAGE – MONITOR AUDIO GROUP OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Richard Page will join the Group as Operations Director as of 7th February 2022. Talking about Richard’s new appointment, Robert said: “I am thrilled that we have been able to attract someone of Richard‘s calibre to the Group. Richard brings 30+ years of experience and a wealth of supply chain, procurement and operational knowledge to our industry and will be a fantastic addition to the team.”
Monitor Audio Group has also announced that Annette Callum, Export Admin Manager, and Lee Manning, Production Director, are due to retire this year. Andrew added: “With 70 years of service at Monitor Audio between them, Annette and Lee are highly respected members of staff who have been instrumental in the success of the Group. We would like to express our sincere thanks for their commitment to the company over the years and wish them well in their retirement.”
