SME Model 8 Turntable
The SME Model 8 is more than just a turntable; it’s a masterpiece of engineering. The plinth is CNC machined chassis made from a unique polymer high density resin material providing high mass, small footprint and superb resonance absorption. Main bearing, spindle and drive pulleys are precision made to the exact standards of all SME high-end turntables. A new generation highly sophisticated electronic speed control unit provides fine pitch speed adjustment within a wide band range. Machined aluminum finishers fitted to the isolation feet complete the look.
The Model 8 turntable is equipped with the renowned SME 309 tonearm and features internal Crystal Cable wiring as standard. It is offered in three elegant paint finishes: traditional SME Black, White, and Midnight Blue, each with contrasting details.
