MICHI PRESTIGE X430 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER AND MICHI PRESTIGE Q430 CD PLAYER INTRODUCED IN NEW PRESTIGE SERIES
Japanese HiFi brand Michi, by Rotel, has announced a new range, the Prestige Series, introducing the Michi Prestige X430 Integrated Amplifier and Michi Prestige Q430 CD Player.
The series is positioned as a more accessible entry point to the brand, while maintaining the engineering principles and design approach seen in its higher-end Reference Series.
MICHI PRESTIGE SERIES
The Prestige Series builds on established Michi technologies, including power supply design, circuit isolation, and low-noise architecture. The two new components are aimed at listeners seeking high-performance audio in a more attainable format, while retaining the brand’s focus on build quality and industrial design.
MICHI PRESTIGE X430 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER
The Michi Prestige X430 Integrated Amplifier is a Class AB design delivering 340 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 210 watts into 8 ohms. It incorporates a custom toroidal transformer and high-current output stages intended to support demanding loudspeakers while maintaining low noise and distortion.
Digital connectivity includes an ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC with support for coaxial, optical and USB inputs, handling PCM and DSD formats, alongside Bluetooth with aptX HD and AAC. HDMI ARC with CEC is included for integration with TVs.
Additional features comprise dual subwoofer outputs, A/B speaker switching, a moving magnet phono stage, multiple analogue inputs, and a front-panel display offering VU meter and spectrum analyser views. The amplifier is housed in an aluminium chassis with a large rotary volume control.
MICHI PRESTIGE Q430 CD PLAYER
The Michi Prestige Q430 CD Player is a dedicated Compact Disc player featuring a tray-loading mechanism designed to reduce vibration during playback. It uses a multi-stage regulated power supply to minimise electrical noise.
A fully differential ESS Sabre ES9028PRO DAC is configured with multiple channels per stereo output to reduce noise and improve signal performance. Outputs include both RCA and balanced XLR analogue connections, as well as a coaxial digital output.
The player also features a colour display capable of showing album artwork, and is built with an aluminium chassis consistent with the Michi design language. An aluminium remote control is supplied.

The Michi Prestige X430 Integrated Amplifier and Michi Prestige Q430 CD Player are scheduled for initial release in North America from March 2026, with wider global availability expected in early Q2 2026.
