NEW METRONOME CLASSICA DEVICES RELEASED LE PLAYER 4, LE PLAYER 4+ AND LE DAC 2

After making their debut at High End Munich 2022, High End French HiFi brand Metronome releases their new Classica devices including the Metronome Le Player 4 top loading CD transport.

French HiFi brand Métronome stays true to their signature design with the Classica Series Metronome Le Player 4 being a top-loading CD Transport, designed to match with the second generation of Le DAC.

Like all Métronome devices, simplicity in use and versatility are the differentiating qualities of the Classica range: CD Player, high-end D/A converter, and, as an option for Le Player, a DSD 256 streamer.

The ‘entry level’ Classica range by Métronome perpetuates the external design of the signature devices of the brand but everything is brand new, from the embedded electronics to the elegant touchpad buttons.

2022 sees a complete renewal for the Métronome Classica range with a new Le Player 4 transport, and new Le DAC 2 converter. The Metronome Le Player 4 is a top-loading CD transport and offers a streaming option that allows it to become a universal digital audio source. It incorporates a brand-new pickup mechanism and a fully new electronic design, as does Le DAC 2, freshly redesigned around an ESS conversion processor.

The ideal connection between the two devices is an HDMI connection carrying a qualitative I²S signal. And for a perfectly coordinated look, both devices have the same screens and innovative touch switches.

METRONOME LE PLAYER 4+

The Metronome Le Player 4+ has been designed for audiophiles who need a versatile digital source. The user can listen to CDs, and also to digital albums stored on a computer or a NAS, or browse streaming services. Its D/A converter is available through asynchronous USB supporting PCM up to 32 bits / 384 kHz and DSD up to 512.
