STREAMING TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MCINTOSH MSA5500
The MSA5500 Streaming Integrated Amplifier supports popular streaming platforms such as Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect, including HiFi Lossless Quality. Its Bluetooth 5.0 compatibility is enhanced with AAC, Qualcomm aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive for high-resolution, seamless wireless playback. Additionally, the amplifier is Roon Ready, allowing easy integration with Roon’s music discovery and management software.
VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY OPTIONS
With a wide array of input options, the McIntosh MSA5500 Streaming Integrated Amplifier adapts effortlessly to diverse setups. It features seven digital and five analogue inputs, including a moving magnet (MM) phono stage for turntables. The HDMI ARC port enables integration with smart TVs.
POWERFUL MCINTOSH AMPLIFICATION
At its core, the MSA5500 provides McIntosh’s hallmark power, delivering 100 watts per channel into 8 Ohms or 160 watts per channel into 4 Ohms. This ensures a robust performance suitable for both music and home theatre applications.

The amplifier incorporates several of McIntosh’s signature technologies, such as Power Guard, Sentry Monitor, and Monogrammed Heatsinks.
