MCINTOSH CS7500 STREAMING PREAMPLIFIER BRINGS STREAMING AND PREAMPLIFICATION TOGETHER
McIntosh has introduced the McIntosh CS7500 Streaming Preamplifier, a component combining network streaming and preamplification in a single chassis.
Designed to act as the central control component in a HiFi system, the McIntosh CS7500 Streaming Preamplifier allows users to pair it with a power amplifier of their choice and offers a range of analogue and digital connectivity options.
MCINTOSH CS7500 STREAMING PREAMPLIFIER
The McIntosh CS7500 Streaming Preamplifier supports Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Google Cast, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect. It is also listed as both Roon Ready and Roon Tested, providing compatibility with the Roon music management and streaming platform.
MCINTOSH CS7500 STREAMING PREAMPLIFIER CONNECTIVITY
A total of 12 analogue and digital audio inputs are included, allowing the CS7500 to accommodate a range of source components. There is also an HDMI ARC input for connecting a compatible television and handling TV audio through the HiFi system.
The preamplifier provides multiple balanced and unbalanced outputs, including connectivity options for subwoofers. This gives the CS7500 flexibility when used in systems ranging from conventional two-channel setups to installations incorporating one or more subwoofers.
QUAD BALANCED DAC DESIGN
Digital-to-analogue conversion is handled by a Quad Balanced eight-channel, 32-bit DAC. McIntosh has combined this with its preamplifier circuitry, bringing digital source handling, streaming and system control together in one component.

The CS7500 uses a chassis incorporating polished stainless steel and hairline brushed black titanium stainless steel. Its exterior follows the recognisable McIntosh design approach while housing the streaming, digital conversion and preamplification sections within a single unit.
