KROMA ATELIER CALLAS SPEAKER MAKES WORLD PREMIERE AT HIGH END MUNICH 2025

Spanish HiFi brand Kroma Atelier will debut the new Kroma Atelier Callas loudspeaker at High End Munich 2025.

Designed to deliver reference-level sound, the Callas loudspeaker promises the sonic performance of the Irya at half the price, making it the most accessible of Kroma Atelier’s flagship-level offerings to date.

KROMA ATELIER CALLAS LOUDSPEAKER

The Kroma Atelier Callas is a 4-way bass reflex floorstanding loudspeaker, with a cabinet constructed entirely from Krion. This rigid, non-resonant material is favoured by Kroma Atelier for its acoustic neutrality. The cabinet design incorporates techniques inspired by silencer engineering, using tuned chambers and resonators to reduce unwanted frequencies and maintain tonal accuracy. Each bass reflex port is handcrafted from wood to ensure smooth airflow and clean, low-distortion bass.

KROMA ATELIER CALLAS DRIVERS AND COMPONENTS

The Callas speaker is equipped with dual AMT tweeters, two 8” anodised aluminium mid-bass drivers, and a single 10” anodised aluminium bass driver. Inside, Kroma Atelier has used pure copper internal wiring, natural fibre insulation, and high-grade crossover components sourced from Duelund and Mundorf. This careful selection ensures signal integrity and precise channel separation throughout the frequency range.

KROMA ATELIER CALLAS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND ISOLATION

With a sensitivity of 91.5 dB, 4 Ohm impedance, and a frequency response of 20Hz to 25kHz (+/- 3 dB), the Callas aims to offer dynamic performance across a broad spectrum. Each speaker weighs 123kg and measures 133cm high, 56cm deep, and 42cm wide. IsoAcoustics Gaia I isolation feet are fitted as standard to help decouple the speakers from the floor and improve soundstage and clarity.

KROMA ATELIER CALLAS RETAILS FOR £95K IN THE UK

The Kroma Atelier Callas has a retail price of €88,000 plus local taxes. In the UK, the Callas will be available for £95,000 including VAT. Distribution in the UK is handled by Boyer Audio.

CALLAS SYSTEM SETUP AT HIGH END MUNICH 2025

Visitors to High End Munich 2025 can hear the Kroma Atelier Callas in two separate demonstration systems. One room features electronics from Engström, including the MONICA preamp, M-Phono, and ERIC Encore power amplifiers, with digital handled by the Wadax Studio • Player and analogue courtesy of TechDAS. Audio furniture will be provided by Solid Tech, and cables by Jorma.

The second system will feature Swiss electronics from Orpheus Lab, paired with the Wadax Studio • Player, audio racks by Artesania Audio, and Turnbull Audio cables. Kroma Atelier will also present its MacBeth standmounts in the IBEX room.
