NEW KESTREL AUDIO KT-100 TURNTABLE LAUNCHED
An upgrade from the entry level KT-50, the Kestrel Audio KT-100 turntable is still a small format size, for compact spaces, but has the TALK A5 Carbon uni-pivot tonearm.
Kestrel Audio is a new Bristish HiFi brand launched in spring 2023.
KESTREL AUDIO KT-100 TURNTABLE
The KT-100 is British HiFi brand Kestrel Audio’s solution to supply the option of a slightly more compact plinth, for those with tighter set ups, whilst not necessarily having to lose out on any significant performance.
It comes fitted with the same specification of machined parts as the KT-50, however the real difference between the two becomes very clear when you look at the tonearm.
TALK A5 CARBON TONEARM
On the KT-100 the TALK A5 carbon fibre 12mm arm tube is matched with the acetal sub-platter and 10mm acrylic platter. The A5 Carbon tonearm is the same as what you would see on the Edwards Audio TT4 and TT5, as well as Kestrel’s KT-200.
With 9 finishes to choose from ranging from sleek black, to warm Oak or Walnut, to the vibrant end of the spectrum with Yellow and Red (amongst others) we have something for everyone.
ELECTRONIC SPEED CHANGE
As with the KT-50 there is now an electronic speed change, instead of manual belt change. This can be found in the rear case along with the power button and RCA sockets/Ground terminal.
Stainless steel counterweight, clear acrylic Z-type dust cover, set up accessories, plug top PSU and starter phono leads are included.
PHONO STAGE OPTION
There is also a built in phono stage option with both the KT-50 and KT-100 which costs an additional £49.95 retail for those who may require it.
The KT-100 does not come fitted with a cartridge, however Zephyr C50 and C100 cartridges may be available upon request subject to availability.
