KENSINGTON AUDIO DEBUTS AT UK HIFI SHOW LIVE 2025 WITH NEW MOVING COIL CARTRIDGE RANGE
The UK HiFi scene welcomes a new name this weekend as Kensington Audio makes its first public appearance at the UK HiFi Show Live 2025 in Ascot.
Dedicated solely to moving coil cartridges, the brand launches with a complete five-model line, ranging from entry-level to flagship performance.
KENSINGTON AUDIO C-500 AND C-600 MOVING COIL CARTRIDGES
The Kensington Audio C-500 (£599.95) features an elliptical stylus and aluminium cantilever. Moving up the range, the Kensington Audio C-600 (£849.95) employs a boron cantilever with an elliptical stylus, designed to deliver greater clarity, precision, and lifelike focus.

KENSINGTON AUDIO C-700, C-800 AND C-900 MOVING COIL CARTRIDGES
The Kensington Audio C-700 (£1499.95) promises extended bandwidth and dynamic refinement. Above it sits the Kensington Audio C-800 (£1999.95), which uses a ruby cantilever and ultra-pure copper coils for tonal depth and holographic imaging. Completing the collection is the flagship Kensington Audio C-900 (£2999.95), featuring a sapphire cantilever and extended 30kHz response, aimed at delivering the highest level of resolution and musical detail.
HAND-ASSEMBLED IN THE UK BY MUSICIANS
Kensington Audio emphasises that each of its moving coil cartridges is hand-assembled in the UK by musicians. The company believes this musician-led approach brings a greater sensitivity to how music should not only sound but also feel, setting its designs apart in a competitive cartridge market.
ROOTED IN BRITISH HIFI HERITAGE
The brand forms part of the Talk Electronics family, a well-established name in British HiFi with more than 25 years of design and manufacturing history. Kensington Audio will sell its cartridges directly via its website, with opportunities open for international dealer and distributor partnerships.
HiFi PiG’s Oscar and Kelly will be reporting from the show, bringing insights and photos from all the exhibitors.
