Ideon Audio Axiom DAC
NEW FLAGSHIP DAC INTRODUCED BY IDEON AUDIO
Ideon Audio has announced the introduction of its new flagship digital-to-analogue converter, the Ideon Audio Axiom DAC.
The product represents the latest development from the Greek manufacturer, bringing together its work in digital conversion, power supply design, and signal management.
IDEON AUDIO AXIOM DAC
The Ideon Audio Axiom DAC employs a 16-channel hybrid parallel DAC architecture operating in a fully differential configuration. This design combines multiple conversion channels with proprietary firmware developed in-house. The approach is intended to support low noise and distortion alongside a wide dynamic range, with a focus on maintaining consistent linear performance throughout the conversion process.
IDEON AUDIO AXIOM DAC POWER DELIVERY
Power delivery forms a central part of the Ideon Audio Axiom DAC’s design. The system provides more than 2kW of available power through a low impedance architecture, aimed at delivering stable and immediate current to the circuitry. This configuration is designed to support dynamic performance and transient response while maintaining operational consistency under varying conditions.
SIGNAL PROCESSING AND RE-CLOCKING TECHNOLOGIES
Signal processing within the unit is handled by Ideon Audio’s proprietary USBCore™ and ChronoCore™ technologies. These systems perform buffering, reclocking and isolation of incoming digital signals before conversion.
The process is intended to reduce timing errors and minimise jitter, supported by a dedicated power supply to maintain stability throughout the signal path.

QUANTUM SYNC INTERFACE
The Quantum Sync Interface™ connects the digital processing stage to the DAC conversion engine. Incoming signals are first stabilised and synchronised before being transferred via a dedicated link using a precision cable and LEMO connector.
This arrangement is designed to ensure that signals arrive at the conversion stage already aligned and isolated from transmission-related disturbances.
CONTROL AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Control of the system is provided through Ideon Audio’s Director application. The software offers access to system settings and operational controls, and is intended to support integration with future Ideon Audio products within a broader platform approach.
IDEON AUDIO AXIOM DAC BUILD AND PRODUCTION
Each Ideon Audio Axiom DAC is hand-built in Greece. Production is expected to be limited, with the company focusing on manufacturing consistency and component selection as part of its high-end digital audio development.
