HIGH END MUNICH 2025:THE HIGHLIGHTS, INNOVATION MEETS SOUND CULTURE

From World of Headphones, to IPS, The Gaming Zone and The Xpert Stage, here are some of the things you can experience at High End Munich 2025 in just a couple of weeks!

From May 15th to 18th 2025 the final edition of High End Munich (before the show moves to Vienna from 2026) will open its doors, offering both trade professionals and an interested general public a unique experience involving all aspects of high-end audio equipment.

Some 500 exhibitors will be represented with over 800 brands, presenting their innovations and audiophile highlights – from exquisite turntables, through smart streaming solutions, right down to resonant loudspeaker systems.

WORLD OF HEADPHONES – GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO

With the WORLD OF HEADPHONES, an independent platform has established itself within the HIGH END, attracting headphone enthusiasts from around the world. In Hall 1, over 70 brands are presenting their latest models and innovative accessories – clearly arranged, all in one place and for immediate hands-on testing. Whether for music enthusiasts, podcast fans or social media users: visitors have the unique opportunity here to test a wide selection of headphones live and to discover the perfect sound for their individual tastes.

GAMING ZONE – EXPERIENCE “FINEST SOUND IN GAMING“ LIVE

After celebrating its premiere last year, the Gaming Zone once again offers an exciting adventure zone at the HIGH END 2025 for all those who love gaming, yet do not want to sacrifice quality sound. In a special area in Hall 1, right next to the WORLD OF HEADPHONES, in cooperation with our partner, konsolenfan.de, visitors can directly try out a huge selection of gaming equipment on various gaming consoles and find out first-hand how good sound can improve their gaming experience.

IPS – THE OEM TRADE SHOW FOR THE AUDIO INDUSTRY

Also located in Hall 1 is IPS – International Parts + Supply, which has come into its own as a key supplier trade show in the audio industry. It brings together manufacturers, service providers and suppliers all in one place and creates ideal conditions for direct interaction within the entire value chain. The event is flanked by the ALTI Pavilion, set up in cooperation with the ALTI Association. Which makes IPS once again in 2025 an important meeting place for trade professionals from the fields of HiFi, acoustics and professional audio equipment.

SOUNDSCLEVER – HIGH-END SOUND AT A FAIR PRICE

The popular initiative SOUNDSCLEVER is proof that excellent sound quality does not have to be a luxury good. Complete turn-key audio systems, consisting of components from leading brands, are not allowed to cost more than EUR 5,000. They offer HiFi, neophytes, entry-level music enthusiasts and people with a newly discovered enthusiasm for music an attractive opportunity to take their first steps into the world of high-end audio. The systems presented for this purpose at the HIGH END show bear the Soundsclever label and impressively demonstrate just how much sound quality is possible in this price range.

IMMERSIVE AUDIO WITH ANETTE ASKVIK: A ROOM-FILLING MUSIC EXPERIENCE

One particular acoustic highlight awaits visitors at this year’s HIGH END show: brand ambassador Anette Askvik will be presenting her album, “Liberty” in a brand-new immersive audio mix. The company Kii Audio has been enlisted as a cooperation partner for this sound extravaganza. Tickets for the presentations are limited and need to be ordered in advance in the online ticket shop.

X-PERT STAGE HOSTING DISCUSSIONS ON THE LATEST TRENDS AND TOPICS

The trade show experience is made complete by an inspiring special events program with panel discussions on the X-Pert Stage – the talk and lecture format of the HIGH END, including Michael Fremer,Roland Hoffmann (Steinway Lyngdorf) and our very own Mrs HiFi PiG, Linette Smith.
