ACAPELLA
From Germany, Acappella were showing off their latest two-way horn loudspeaker system that features that humungous horn (it’s 170cm wide) and eight 15-inch drivers for bass on each speaker. I understand the whole system comes in at around 9 million Euros…yes, you read that right!

Kii
Kii partnered with Anette Askvik to deliver an immersive audio experience, this system was incredibly good. Whilst we didn’t get a slot to listen to Anette’s music in this room, we did hear other music being played and it was a truly immersive experience. And, for a system that comes in at around the €100k price range, it isn’t as exclusive as it might appear (especially when coming from a room with €9m horns…).
SILBATONE
What a room, the legendary Western Electric Double 22B horns were paired with TA 7395 amplifiers and a whole host of Silbatone electronics. This room exclusively played vinyl and was such an impressive system, it has that sense of realism and effortless scale that very few systems have – however it is completely impractical in terms of size for most peoples living spaces. This is as close to live sound as you are going to get really.
ANETTE ASKVIK / HES
There was a small stand selling vinyl copies of Anette Askvik’s albums, along with the exclusive HES vinyl too.
POET
Poet had a main booth in the halls, in the corridor they had a couple of their models on display too. These have quite a unique design, it’s up to you whether you think they look great or not, they are different though.
The brand have a showroom in Vienna, which Stu and Lin found when they were there for the FAS Vienna last November…so we can guess they will be exhibiting at High End Vienna 2026.
AUDIO EXCESS
Audio Excess were representing quite a few brands at the show including Clarisys Audio, Pink Faun, Signal Projects, Lampizator, Soulution, Kronos and VAC. A huge array of kit was on display in here and the main system was incredible, they were using the Clarisys Audio Atrium speaker system with VAC amplifier, VAC phono stage, Accuphase DF-75 frequency dividing network, Lampizator Horizon360 DAC and Kronos Perpetual Turntable.
LOEWE
Loewe have a new range of speakers out, using the Purifi Ushindi drivers, the Inicio and Grand Inicio. The Grand Inicio is a floor standing model, the Inicio is a compact bookshelf speaker, both models use AMT tweeters and the smaller one is a sealed cabinet with dual passive radiators. These look like fantastic new speakers, elsewhere Loewe had some portable speakers on demo, some of their TVs and their multi.room amp. A lot of lifestyle friendly kit as well as audiophile worthy speakers from Loewe, and the new Inicio models look great.
CHESKY
There was a small table with Chesky Audio LC1 speakers on demo, they were using the Cambridge Audio EXA100 amplifier to drive them.
CESSARO
The Cessaro room never fails to impress, huge horn speakers in a beautiful purple finish accompanied by Alieno electronics and a Dohmann Helix One MK3 turntable with the brand-new Wilson Benesch GRAVITON Ti Tonearm – Crafted with advanced composite and titanium structures, and featuring the innovative STAGE One over-arm signal path, it is certainly unique.
Then it was time to head up the stairs to Atrium 3….
PMC
PMC were of course showing their new Prophecy range of speakers in Munich. They had two systems setup, when I was in the room they played the Prophecy 9 paired with their COR integrated amplifier and an AVM CS 8.3 Black Edition streaming CD player. The track used was Geoff Castellucci – The Sound Of Silence and it was an incredible experience, deep yet controlled low end with superb detail – the Prophecy speakers are truly excellent.

TRANSROTOR
A room full of turntables, from “budget” to high-end models there is always plenty of eye candy in this room.
CHORD ELECTRONICS
At High End Munich 2025, Chord Electronics introduced a new flagship analogue product, the Chord Ultima Phono, expanding its ULTIMA Reference series. This addition complements the existing ULTIMA PRE preamplifier and ULTIMA MONO power amplifiers, reinforcing Chord’s commitment to high-end analogue design and performance. The device was unveiled on Thursday, offering attendees an early look ahead of its formal release later in the year.
They had plenty more kit around the edges of the room, from HiFi to pro-audio, headphones, Kerr Acoustics speakers (in a lovely finish) and a few headphone setups.
The main demo system had a Rega Naia running into the new Ultima phono stage, Ultima Reference pre-amp, Dave and a pair of Ultima mono block amplifiers driving a pair of Peak Consult Sinfonia speakers. What a setup, the new phono stage really getting out of the way and allowing crisp, detailed sound to come through.
PRIMARE / INAKUSTIK / AUDIOVECTOR
Primare, InAkustik and AudioVector had plenty on display in their joint room, with a small demo setup using the Primare I15 with streaming module powering a pair of AudioVector QR3 floorstanding speakers. A great sounding and aesthetically pleasing little system.
MOON
Moon by SimAudio had a range of their amplifiers and network players/DACs on display at the sides of the room, with the main system running a 681 network player/DAC into a 641 integrated amp powering the lovely Dynaudio Contour Legacy. These speakers sounding sublime with the Moon kit, they have that classic styling with modern driver/crossover tech to give you wonderful sound from a classic looking speaker.
AUER ACOUSTICS
Auer always have a fantastic setup at shows, as they put a lot of effort into the room with acoustic treatment and excellent partnering electronics. They were using their Versura V4 speakers with Soulution 701 mono block amps, Pink Faun 2.16 streamer, Master Fidelity NADAC-D DAC, NADAC-C clock and Innuos Phoenix Net network switch – a truly exceptional sounding room.
BURMESTER
A new collaboration from Burmester was on show in the main atrium section, this time with Porsche! Alongside a static display of some of their other amplifiers and turntables. They did have a ticketed demo room, I managed to snap a few pictures in-between sessions – lovely kit as ever.
TECHNICS
As always, Technics brought as whole host of products to show off including true wireless earphones, integrated amplifiers, streaming active speakers, turntables, CD players and more. Always a fun room with electronic music playing, and lots of people really enjoying the atmosphere in there.
MUSICAL FIDELITY / TRIANGLE
Musical Fidelity and Triangled shared a room, Musical Fidelity showing off their range including the M2xi, M3xi, M5xi and M8xi. The main thing in there though was the launch of new models in Triangle’s Borea range – the BR04 bookshelf/standmount, BRC2 centre speaker and BRS1 dipole/bipole speaker. The BR04 builds on the already excellent BR03, extending its low frequency performance to 44Hz and bringing out a little more clarity, whilst the BRC2 and BRS1 are sure to win over some home-theatre fans.
TAD
Lots of great kit in the TAD room, with great acoustic treatment too. They had their D1000tx CA/SACD/USB-DAC/pre-amp, C1000 pre-amp and a pair of M2500tx power amplifiers driving a pair of their GE1 speakers. This was a very good system, deep bass that easily pressurised this big room with no bloat – the detail presented was excellent and the midrange cut through with great tonality.

AUDIO REFERENCE
The Audio Reference room had so many brands on display and demo, Velodyne, Nordost, Wilson Audio, Dan D’Agostino, Krell, Magnetar, Perlisten, VPI, Western Electric, VTL, DCS and more!
They had a pair of the new Perlisten D8is subs on demo, which I first saw at AXPONA in April, these are serious bits of kit with 8 x 8” drivers and 3000w of amplification – hugely impressive.
There was also the $3 million Dan D’Agostino and Wilson Audio system which Andreas was able to check out…it featured the Dan D’Agostino Relentless Preamplifier and four Relentless Epic 1600 Monoblock Amplifiers with more than 6 kilowatts of power combined, driving flagship Wilson Audio Master Chronosonic XVX Loudspeakers and Subsonic Subwoofers.
CANTON
I only managed to get into one of the Canton rooms, as the other was holding some sort of private listening event. In here we had a Rotel Michi X5 Series 2 integrated amp, Rotel RAS-5000 integrated streaming amp, Canton Reference 3 and Reference 9 speakers on demo. The Canton Reference range sound superb with plenty of punch, depth, clarity and drive – very impressive speakers if you get the chance to listen to them. They also had one of the “Sounds Clever” systems in their room featuring the Rotel A11 MKII, GLE90 speakers, Wiim mini and cable coming in at under €2000, excellent value for money.
REICHMANN AUDIOSYSTEME
In here you had some Magnepan MG-2.7i speakers paired with a full Musical Fidelity system including the Nu-Vista Vinyl 2 phono stage, Nu-Vista DAC, Nu-Vista 800.2 integrated amp, MX-Stream, BPC16 power conditioner and La Platine Verdier turntable. Around the room were other Musical Fidelity models, and Music Hall turntables.
CONSTELLATION
Constellation Audio unveiled its updated Revelation 2 Series, featuring redesigned stereo and monobloc amplifiers, a full-featured preamplifier, and an enhanced phono preamplifier. These components incorporate the proprietary Constellation Switch-Mode Power Supply (C-SMPS) technology, aimed at improving power delivery, efficiency, and speed.
Attendees experienced the Revelation 2 Phono Preamplifier during vinyl listening sessions hosted by E.A.T. Turntables founder Jozefina Lichtenegger, featuring curated LPs and Wilson Audio WATT/Puppy loudspeakers. Additionally, a preview of the forthcoming Performance 2 Series Mono block Amplifier was presented ahead of its official launch later this year.
T+A
Lots of T+A kit on display from various ranges including DACs, integrated amps, all-in-one streaming amps, headphone dac/amps, headphones, and speakers. I do like how they show off the internals of some of their products and they had a prototype of their new R 1200 E all-in-one streaming amp that will be released in 2026.
