That’s why we’re delighted to announce that HiFi PiG is now an official media partner with some of the most exciting and relevant shows across the Asian audio landscape. Our partner shows in the region are:

TAS SHANGHAI TOP AV SHOW 2025 – The International High-End Audio Show Of China

11th – 13th July 2025

The TAS (Top Audio Show) Shanghai is arguably one of the most important HiFi exhibitions in mainland China, previously known as SIAV. This annual event, which takes place for the 32^nd time this weekend, attracts not only local and regional enthusiasts but a growing number of international visitors and brands.

TAS Shanghai features a wide array of rooms decked out with some of the best high-end audio gear on the planet. From analogue marvels and stunning valve amplifiers to the latest in DACs and digital streamers, TAS Shanghai offers an incredible cross-section of the audiophile world.

What makes TAS Shanghai unique is its local flavour mixed with international ambition. You’ll find plenty of Chinese brands you may not yet be familiar with—many of which punch far above their weight—as well as big names from the West looking to engage with Asia’s booming HiFi market.

HiFi PiG’s Gyula will be reporting from the 2025 show this weekend, highlighting rooms, products, and emerging trends. If you’re looking for a show that captures the energy of Chinese audiophilia in a world-class setting, TAS Shanghai is it.

HONG KONG AV SHOW 2025 – Legendary Status With A Local Soul

8th – 10th August 2025

Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show is a legend in the audiophile world.  Since it’s inception in 2003, the annual event is organised by Hong Kong and China’s largest audiophile publication, Audiotechnique Magazine. This year in August, Stu and Lin will be visiting once again. This show routinely draws tens of thousands of visitors and is a fixture for brands looking to reach a highly informed and enthusiastic crowd.

Held at the spectacular Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre—famous for its panoramic harbour views—the show is a sensory feast. Expect multiple floors filled with demo rooms, static displays, listening sessions, and of course, the now-famous Super CD released each year as a collector’s item featuring audiophile tracks curated specifically for the show.

What makes the Hong Kong AV Show so special is its accessibility. This is not a trade-only event—it’s an enthusiast’s paradise, where collectors, techies, vinyl lovers, and newcomers mix freely. It’s also the show where East truly meets West, with Japanese, American, British, and European brands standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Chinese, Macau and Hong Kong-based companies.

HI END ASIA SINGAPORE – Premium Audio In The Lion City

Singapore may be a small island nation, but it punches far above its weight in the luxury audio scene. Hi End Asia Singapore is a newer kid on the block, starting in 2023, it has quickly become one of the must-visit HiFi shows in Southeast Asia.

What sets Hi End Asia apart is its blend of consumer-friendly layout with high-end curation. This show is designed to be both accessible to newcomers and a dream for seasoned audiophiles. Exhibitors range from boutique artisan brands to industry giants.

Hi End Asia is also tech-forward, embracing immersive audio formats, streaming platforms, and smart integration. If you’re into both vinyl and the future of audio, this is the place to be.

Expect to meet HiFi PiG’s Gyula there this year as he snoofles out the hottest HiFi in Singapore.

NORTHERN INTERNATIONAL AV SHOW 2026 – Malaysia’s Rising Star

In 2026, the HiFi PiG team will also be heading over to Penang, Malaysia for the Northern International AV Show 2026, taking place from the 17th to 19th of April 2026, a relative newcomer on the scene but a show in which we see huge potential.

The Malaysian HiFi scene is thriving, and this event is fast becoming its focal point—especially for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur and enjoy high-end audio in a more relaxed coastal setting.
