FOCAL MU-SO HEKLA IMMERSIVE ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM LAUNCHED
Focal has introduced the Focal Mu-So Hekla All-In-One System, an all-in-one home cinema and music system designed to deliver immersive audio in a compact form.
The system integrates acoustic engineering from Focal with amplification from Naim, aiming to offer a straightforward setup for living rooms and media spaces. The enclosure features an anodised and sandblasted aluminium finish and is intended to sit on a standard piece of furniture rather than requiring wall mounting or additional stands.
FOCAL MU-SO HEKLA ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM
The Focal Mu-so Hekla is built around 15 drive units arranged to deliver 7.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos playback. This includes seven drivers facing forward, additional units on the sides, and four on the top surface to assist with height and surround effects. The system is specified to handle rooms up to around 40m² and can reach a claimed 108 dB SPL at one metre. Low-frequency extension is listed down to 27Hz (-6dB).

AMPLIFICATION AND CONTROL
The amplification totals 660W across the driver array, based on Class D modules developed by Naim Audio. An intuitive rotary control on the chassis allows basic interaction, while day-to-day operation and configuration are handled through the Focal & Naim control app. The system supports multi-room playback and can be synchronised with up to 32 compatible streaming devices. Voice control via Google and Apple is also supported, alongside smartwatch and widget shortcuts.

CONNECTIVITY AND STREAMING
Connectivity includes HDMI eARC for linking directly to a television, along with optical input and Ethernet. Wi-Fi is built in, and Bluetooth streaming is supported. Streaming access covers services including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify (via Connect), and UPnP playback from local network sources, with high-resolution support extending up to 32-bit/384kHz LPCM and DSD128. Internet radio is available through Naim’s server platform.
ROOM ADAPTATION MODES
The system includes “Sphere” audio processing combining beamforming and crosstalk reduction, intended to improve spatial effects without requiring additional speakers. ADAPT calibration allows tailoring to room placement and acoustics. An RCA output is provided for connection to an external subwoofer if further bass reinforcement is desired.

FOCAL MU-SO HEKLA ALL-IN-ONE SYSTEM RICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Focal Mu-so Hekla sits alongside the wider Focal and Naim multiroom ecosystem and is intended as a compact alternative to separates-based home cinema systems and soundbar-plus-sub combinations. The product will initially be released in South Korea and China before global availability begins in early 2026. It will be demonstrated publicly at CES 2026 in Las Vegas and at ISE 2026 in Barcelona.
The recommended retail price for the Focal Mu-so Hekla is €3300 / $3600 / £3000.
