FINAL TONALITE TRUE WIRELESS EARPHONES WITH PERSONALISED TIMBRE
Japanese HiFi brand Final has introduced the Final Tonalite True Wireless Earphones, designed to offer a personalised listening experience by adapting sound to the user’s individual anatomy.
The approach focuses on timbre, the tonal character that distinguishes instruments and voices, and aims to reproduce music with natural tonal accuracy.

FINAL TONALITE AND 3D SCANNING TECHNOLOGY
A key feature of Final Tonalite is its 3D scanning process, carried out through the Tonalite app. Using a smartphone camera, listeners complete a guided scan of their head and ears, followed by an in-app ear canal acoustic measurement. These two data sets are processed to create a personal acoustic model.
The scans are processed securely via Final’s Digital Twin Audio Simulation (DTAS) engine. This system models how sound interacts with the listener’s head and ear shape, generating a Personalised Timbre Profile. This profile is then transferred to the earphones, tailoring sound output to the individual.
UNDERSTANDING TIMBRE IN MUSIC
Timbre is the tonal colour that allows listeners to distinguish between instruments playing the same note. Subtle differences in anatomy can influence how timbre is heard. Final Tonalite aims to reproduce timbre in a way that reflects how sound would naturally reach the ear in real life.
DUAL MODES ON FINAL TONALITE
Tonalite offers two listening modes: a Personalised Timbre Profile, and Final’s reference tuning inspired by the brand’s A10000 IEM. The earphones also include hybrid noise control, with both Active Noise Cancelling and Ambient listening modes.
CONNECTIVITY AND BATTERY PERFORMANCE
Final Tonalite supports Bluetooth 6 and works with SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs. Battery life is listed at up to eight hours per charge, with up to 24 hours total when used with the charging case.

Final Tonalite will launch via Kickstarter from 11th November to 2nd December 2025. The MSRP is $329.00. Early pricing during the campaign is set at 25% off for the first 500 backers, with a 15% discount available for later supporters. Shipments are scheduled to begin from 2nd December 2025, with wider retail availability expected in mid-December 2025.
