FiiO QX13 POCKET DAC AND HEADPHONE AMP DEBUTS IN EUROPE
FiiO will be showcasing its new FiiO QX13 Carbon Fibre DAC and headphone amplifier at CanJam London 2025, marking the European debut of the device.
Designed for use with smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles, the QX13 brings high-performance HiFi capability to compact, on-the-go setups.
CARBON FIBRE FiiO QX13
The FiiO QX13 features a distinctive 21-layer carbon fibre chassis, offering durability and lightweight handling. A 1.99-inch hardened IPS display provides clear, at-a-glance information, enhancing usability when paired with various sources via USB-C.
FiiO QX13 FEATURES FLAGSHIP ESS DAC CHIP
At the core of the FiiO QX13 is the ESS SABRE PRO ES9027PRO DAC, a component typically found in full-sized desktop HiFi systems. This chip is arranged in an 8-channel parallel configuration and is supported by dual ultra-low-noise ES9312 regulators. This architecture delivers accurate signal processing with reduced jitter and optimised power use, supporting formats up to DSD512 and 768kHz / 32-bit PCM.
BALANCED AND UNBALANCED OUTPUTS
The QX13 is equipped with both a standard 3.5mm output and a balanced 4.4mm socket, allowing easy pairing with a broad range of headphones and in-ear monitors. It fully supports MQA decoding and is capable of delivering studio master-level playback for high-resolution streaming services.
FiiO QX13 AMPLIFICATION
To ensure high output stability, the QX13 incorporates four INA1620 chips, chosen for their precision and low interference between channels. Two OPA1692 op-amps further support dynamic response under different listening loads. An integrated Desktop Mode intelligently draws additional power from USB sources when needed, enhancing output without compromising efficiency.
CUSTOM CONTROL WITH THE FiiO APP
The FiiO Control app for iOS and Android enables 10-band parametric EQ adjustments and firmware updates, giving users fine-tuned control over their sound preferences. The QX13 is designed to work particularly well with FiiO’s own FT7 and FX17 IEMs.
OPTIONAL CASE AND POWER PACK EXPAND FiiO QX13 FUNCTIONALITY
Available alongside the QX13 is a magnetic leather case, which can house both the DAC and FiiO’s optional ‘estick’ battery pack. This modular setup provides added flexibility for users who want portable performance in a single integrated unit.

The FiiO QX13 is available now, with an official European launch set for CanJam London on Saturday 19th July 2025. Pricing is £219 in the UK, €239 in Europe, and $219 in the US.
