FiiO’s affordable HeadFi brand Jade Audio has released the new Jade Audio JT7 and JT3 Headphones.

Leading the release is the Jade Audio JT7 open-back planar magnetic headphone, joined by the Jade Audio JT3 dynamic headphone.

JADE AUDIO JT7 OPEN-BACK PLANAR MAGNETIC HEADPHONE

Claiming to be “the most affordable planar headphone in the world”, the Jade Audio JT7 open-back planar magnetic headphone is a major technological statement for FiiO: a lightweight, foldable, high-performance planar magnetic headphone engineered entirely in-house to change expectations of what a planar headphone can cost.

Building on years of planar R&D, the JT7 features a 95 × 86 mm ultra-large planar driver and a push-pull magnetic architecture with two-way high-density magnets. The JT7 also incorporates FiiO’s breakthrough F.E.S. (FiiO Elastic System) – an embossed structural design on the diaphragm that increases elastic amplitude and enhances low-frequency dynamics.

The JT7 weighs just 318 g, making it one of the lightest planar headphones ever designed, says FiiO. A detachable 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced cable comes as standard alongside replaceable earpads and a removable Velcro headband cushion, to ensure long-term durability and comfort.

Supporting the flagship JT7 is the Jade Audio JT3, an open-back dynamic headphone designed to deliver a wide soundstage, clarity and comfort at an entry-level price.

Equipped with a 50 mm dynamic driver featuring a PEK + PU composite diaphragm and a high-tension CCAW voice coil, the JT3 also features a brass damping ring to reduce distortion further and improve micro-detail reproduction.

The JT3 continues FiiO’s philosophy of prioritising acoustic investment: placing budget into drivers and internal materials rather than unnecessary accessories. With a lightweight 330g design, velvet earpads, aluminium-magnesium alloy grilles and dual 3.5 mm connectors, the JT3 is built for comfort, say FiiO.
