EVERSOLO DAC-Z10 DIGITAL-TO-ANALOGUE CONVERTER AND HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER ANNOUNCED
The new Eversolo DAC-Z10 is a combined DAC and headphone amplifier built around the company’s Fully Isolated Architecture.
The design keeps the analogue and digital sections separated to help reduce interference and maintain signal clarity.
EVERSOLO DAC-Z10 DAC AND HEADPHONE AMPLIFIER
The internal layout includes three independent linear power supplies, dedicated to the left channel, right channel, and system circuitry. Each supply is isolated from the others to support consistent performance and minimise electrical noise.
The DAC section uses separate AK4191 and AK4499 chipsets for each channel. This dual-mono decoding approach is intended to prevent crosstalk and maintain channel separation during high-resolution playback, including DSD512 and PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit.
R2R ANALOGUE VOLUME CONTROL
For volume adjustment, the DAC-Z10 employs an R2R resistor ladder network with independent left and right channel control. This is designed to preserve signal accuracy at different listening levels compared with typical digital volume control methods.
EVERSOLO DAC-Z10 AS A PREAMPLIFIER
The unit incorporates a balanced preamplifier stage and offers both XLR and RCA analogue inputs and outputs. With +10dB analogue gain available, the DAC-Z10 can be used to drive power amplifiers or active loudspeakers directly.
EVERSOLO PRECISION CORE CLOCK SYSTEM
Clock management is handled by the Eversolo Precision Core system, combining a temperature-controlled OCXO oscillator, PLL processing, and FPGA-based clock reconstruction. The DAC-Z10 also supports external 10MHz and 25MHz clock inputs with selectable 50Ω and 75Ω impedance options.
CONNECTIVITY AND HEADPHONE AMPLIFICATION
Connections include USB Audio, dual optical, dual coaxial, AES/EBU, IIS, HDMI ARC, and a 6.35mm headphone output. The IIS input provides several selectable modes for compatibility with different digital sources. The headphone amplifier adjusts gain automatically depending on connected headphone impedance.
HDMI ARC AND BLUETOOTH SUPPORT
HDMI ARC is included for integration with televisions and home media systems. A built-in Bluetooth module supports high-resolution wireless audio transmission from compatible devices.
TOUCHSCREEN INTERFACE AND APP CONTROL
The 8.8-inch IPS touchscreen allows direct access to settings and visual display options, including VU meters and spectrum visualisations. Control can also be managed through the Eversolo Control app on mobile devices.
