Eversolo AMP-F8 Class AB Power Amplifier
EVERSOLO AMP-F8 CLASS AB POWER AMPLIFIER INTRODUCED WITH 500W BRIDGED OUTPUT
Eversolo has introduced the new Eversolo AMP-F8, a new Class AB power amplifier designed to add dedicated power amplification to existing HiFi systems or form part of a larger system.
The Eversolo AMP-F8 amplifier uses a Class AB topology and offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs.
EVERSOLO AMP-F8 CLASS AB POWER AMPLIFIER
The Eversolo AMP-F8 delivers 180W RMS per channel into 8Ω and 280W RMS per channel into 4Ω in stereo mode. When operated in bridged mode, it can deliver 500W RMS into 8Ω. Eversolo says the amplifier is intended to provide stable power for larger floorstanding speakers and more demanding loads.
At the heart of the amplifier is an 800W toroidal linear power supply, with separate power supply arrangements for the left and right channels. The design also incorporates 24 audio-grade filter capacitors and an integrated DC blocking circuit. According to Eversolo, the latter is intended to reduce the effects of DC offset from the AC mains on the transformer, helping to minimise mechanical vibration and potential noise interference.
EVERSOLO AMP-F8 AMPLIFICATION DESIGN
The AMP-F8 uses a dual differential amplification architecture with symmetrical circuitry and precision negative feedback. Each channel has three pairs of matched high-current MOSFET power devices operating in parallel. Eversolo states that this arrangement is designed to distribute current more evenly and maintain linearity across different loads. The amplifier has a quoted THD+N of 0.003% at 1kHz, signal-to-noise ratio of ≥115dB, and damping factor of more than 400 at 8Ω and 1kHz.
CONNECTIVITY AND VU METERS
Connectivity comprises one balanced XLR input and one unbalanced RCA input, with a 10kΩ input impedance for both. The front panel incorporates two analogue VU meters, with the needles moving in real time to indicate changes in signal level and dynamics.
EVERSOLO AMP-F8 CHASSIS AND COOLING
The amplifier has a unibody aluminium chassis produced using CNC machining, with an anodised sandblasted finish. The enclosure is designed to provide physical rigidity, thermal efficiency and electromagnetic shielding. Cooling is handled through natural convection, with the internal layout designed to support operation during extended listening and high-load use.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Eversolo AMP-F8 measures 265 × 388 × 119mm (W × D × H) and weighs 15.9kg net. Maximum power consumption is specified at 1200W, while the amplifier supports 100–120V/60Hz and 220–240V/50Hz supplies. The frequency response is quoted as 10Hz–30kHz ±0.5dB at 1W/8Ω, with channel crosstalk of ≤-95dB at 180W/8Ω/1kHz. The box includes a power cable, trigger cable and user manual.
